Looking Beyond the Shintenchi 4 Pieces Patio Furniture Set? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

How these alternatives compare

Oasbira 5-Piece 7-Seat Aluminum Patio Set

The Oasbira set shifts from steel to an aluminum frame, which resists rust without needing powder coating. It expands seating capacity to seven people, making it suitable for larger gatherings. The dimensions are significantly wider at 80.3 inches long, compared to the Shintenchi’s 42.1 inches. You get thick cushions included, whereas the Shintenchi requires separate purchases. This set weighs 60 pounds, slightly heavier than the 55-pound Shintenchi, but the aluminum construction offers long-term durability. If you need space for more guests or prefer metal over textile fabric, this is a practical upgrade. It sacrifices the lightweight portability of the Shintenchi for robust, fixed seating.

LHBcraft 5-Piece PE Wicker Patio Set

This LHBcraft option uses PE rattan instead of steel and textile. It includes cushions and an ottoman, adding comfort and versatility that the Shintenchi lacks. The set is heavier at 80.3 pounds, making it less mobile than the 55-pound Shintenchi. Its footprint is larger, measuring 67.7 inches long, which fits small balconies but occupies more space. The rattan material provides a different aesthetic and weather resistance profile. You get a five-piece configuration rather than four, offering more seating variety. This choice suits buyers who want a woven look and included soft furnishings. It trades the simple, clean lines of the Shintenchi for a more traditional, cushioned patio experience with greater weight and bulk.

ZANDOR 4-Piece Aluminum Sectional

The ZANDOR set features a grey aluminum frame, offering rust resistance without powder coating. It includes thick, washable cushions, addressing the Shintenchi’s lack of included seating. The set weighs 70 pounds, making it heavier and less easy to move than the 55-pound Shintenchi. It is designed as a sectional with a loveseat, providing flexible seating arrangements. The aluminum construction is generally lighter than steel but this specific model is denser. You get a modern grey finish instead of light brown textile. This option is ideal for small decks where durability and included comfort are priorities. It gives up the ultra-light portability of the Shintenchi for a sturdier, more permanent seating solution with better weather protection for the cushions.

EconoHome 4-Piece Black Patio Set

The EconoHome set uses black wicker and rattan over a steel frame, differing from the Shintenchi’s steel and textile mix. It includes cushions and a coffee table, adding comfort not found in the Shintenchi. The weight is 53 pounds, slightly lighter than the Shintenchi’s 55 pounds, aiding mobility. The dimensions are compact, with a width of only 20 inches for the table, fitting tight balconies. The black aesthetic offers a distinct look compared to the light brown Shintenchi. You get a woven texture instead of mesh fabric. This set is best for small spaces where a dark, modern look is desired. It trades the breathable textile seat for a more substantial wicker build, providing a cozy, enclosed seating feel with included soft furnishings.

UDPATIO 6-Piece Wicker Set with Swivel Chairs

The UDPATIO set expands to six pieces with seven seats, offering significantly more capacity than the Shintenchi’s four pieces. It includes swivel chairs, adding flexibility that the fixed Shintenchi chairs lack. The wicker material provides a different weather-resistant profile compared to steel and textile. It also features a storage table, adding utility not present in the Shintenchi’s glass table. The set is designed for spacious patios, occupying more room than the compact Shintenchi. You get armrests and swivel functionality for better comfort and interaction. This option suits those who value social seating and storage. It sacrifices the lightweight, easy-to-move nature of the Shintenchi for a larger, more feature-rich arrangement with enhanced seating dynamics.

TANGJEAMER 5-Piece Patio Set with Fire Pit

The TANGJEAMER set introduces a fire pit table, a feature absent in the Shintenchi’s glass coffee table. It uses rattan framing and includes cushions, adding warmth and comfort. The set weighs 60 pounds, slightly heavier than the Shintenchi’s 55 pounds. It is designed for social gatherings, providing heat rather than just seating. The rattan material offers a different aesthetic and durability profile. You get a modular sectional design for flexible arrangement. This option is ideal for cool evenings where warmth is a priority. It trades the simple, clean look of the Shintenchi for a functional fire feature. The inclusion of cushions and a heat source makes it a specialized choice for social outdoor living, distinct from the basic conversation setup of the Shintenchi.
