Who it fits

Key specs for this set

Piece Count: 5 Pieces

This set includes five distinct items. You get a complete arrangement for your outdoor space without buying separate components. The count defines the total number of individual units in the package. It helps you gauge how much furniture you are receiving for your patio area. This number is fixed for this specific model listing.

Frame Material: Aluminum

The structural skeleton is made entirely of aluminum. This metal is lightweight yet strong, resisting rust and corrosion better than iron. You do not need to paint or seal the frame to protect it from weather. It holds up well in rain or sun. This material choice reduces maintenance effort compared to wood or steel frames.

Seating Capacity: 7

The entire set accommodates seven people at once. This capacity includes seating around the fire pit table and on the sofa sections. You can host a small family dinner or a group of friends comfortably. Check your available space to ensure it fits. This number helps you decide if the set is large enough for your typical gatherings.

Cushion Thickness: 6-inch

The seat cushions are six inches thick. This depth provides substantial support and a plush feel when you sit down. It helps distribute your weight evenly for longer comfort. Thicker cushions often retain their shape better over time. Compare this to standard three-inch cushions for a noticeable difference in softness and support.

Design and build details

The frame is all aluminum with a powder-coated finish. According to the listing, this provides structural strength and supports up to 400 lbs per piece. The finish helps resist fading and wear. You do not need to worry about rust or corrosion in typical outdoor conditions. The welding is precise, which adds to the overall durability. You can rely on this setup for long-term use without frequent maintenance. The material choice makes it lightweight yet sturdy. This balance is key for patio furniture that needs to stay in place but also be movable if needed.

This XL-7 seat model measures 35 inches in length, 30 inches in width, and 25.6 inches in height. It weighs 259 pounds. The weight is substantial, so you should have a solid surface for installation. The deep seat design allows you to curl up or lean back comfortably. The 6-inch thick cushions are filled with high-density foam. They are covered in water-repellent fabric with an inner waterproof membrane. This means rain or spills will slide off rather than soak in. You can leave the cushions outside in light rain, though storing them is still best practice for longevity. The color-block design on the armrests adds a modern look. It is available in dark grey or light grey. The layout includes a central fire pit table, making it a focal point for gatherings.

Setup and everyday use

The LayinSun 5-Piece Aluminum Fire Pit Patio Set arrives as a substantial unit weighing 259 pounds. Its XL-7 Seat configuration requires a spacious patio or deck area to accommodate the width and depth of the sofa seats. The set includes a central fire pit table, which serves as the focal point for the arrangement. You will need to ensure your outdoor space can support the total weight and footprint of this seven-seat ensemble.

Assembly involves connecting the all-aluminum frame pieces. The powder-coated finish on the frame surface requires no special maintenance, allowing you to focus on placement rather than upkeep. The precision welding technology ensures structural integrity, so you can rely on the 400 lbs load capacity per piece for daily stability. The 6-inch thick cushions are filled with high-density, high-resilience outdoor foam. This thickness provides significant support, but it also means the seats are deep. You can change your sitting position freely, whether curling your legs or leaning back.

Daily use is straightforward. The cushions are 100% waterproof, with a water-repellent outer layer and an inner membrane. You do not need to bring them inside during rain; any liquid slides off the surface. The color-block design on the armrests remains vibrant without meticulous care. The dark grey finish resists fading, so the set looks consistent over time. The fire pit table allows for evening gatherings, while the spacious seating accommodates family or friends. The setup is simple, and the materials handle weather exposure with minimal effort.

Before You Buy This Set

Owning this seven-seat ensemble requires planning for the central fire pit table. You must verify that your local fire codes permit wood or gas fires on your patio. The listing notes waterproof cushions, but you should still bring them indoors during heavy storms to extend fabric life. The dark grey finish helps hide dirt, yet regular cleaning with mild soap is necessary to maintain the powder-coated appearance. This set fits best in large outdoor areas due to its XL dimensions. If your space is tight, consider the smaller variations like the M-4 or S-2 Seat options listed. The 400 lbs load capacity per piece supports most adults comfortably. Unlike all-wood sets, this aluminum frame needs no sealing or staining. It pairs well with simple, modern decor. Check your deck weight limits before placing it, as the unit weighs 259 pounds. Ensure you have clearance for the fire pit table’s smoke or heat if using combustible fuel.

Check before you buy

• Check local fire codes for your patio type.
• Measure your space for the XL-7 Seat dimensions.
• Verify deck weight limits for the 259 lb unit.
• Confirm cushion storage options for heavy rain.
