Devoko vs Flamaker Patio Sets
Frame Material
The Devoko set uses a steel frame wrapped in brown PE rattan. This combination offers a sturdy structure that resists rot and decay. Steel provides strong load-bearing capacity without the risk of warping from moisture. In contrast, the Flamaker set is constructed from solid Acacia wood. Wood offers a natural aesthetic and different tactile feel. However, the manufacturer notes that wood requires storage during rain to prevent corrosion. You must weigh the low-maintenance nature of synthetic materials against the organic look of solid timber.
Seating Comfort
Devoko includes soft sponge-filled seat cushions with removable covers. This design allows for easy cleaning and maintenance. The cushions provide immediate plushness. Flamaker also features padded cushions filled with soft foam and covered in high-quality fabric. A key difference is the attachment method. Flamaker cushions come with banding ropes to secure them to the chair back, preventing movement. Both sets prioritize comfort through foam padding, but the secure attachment on the Flamaker chairs may keep the seating area neater during use.
Table Inclusion
The Devoko package is a three-piece conversation set that includes two chairs and one tea table. The table measures 15.75 inches by 15.75 inches with a toughened glass top. This glass surface is strong, light, and easy to wash with water. The Flamaker listing describes a three-piece porch chair set. The data does not list a table in the Flamaker package. If you need a surface for drinks or small items, the Devoko set provides an integrated solution. The Flamaker set focuses solely on seating for your balcony or porch.
Chair Design
Flamaker chairs feature spaced gaps in the seat and backrest. This design improves breathability, keeping you cooler in hot summer weather. The backrest is angled at 110 degrees to offer better lumbar support. Devoko chairs are made of woven PE rattan. The data does not specify gap spacing or backrest angles for the Devoko model. The solid wood construction of the Flamaker chairs provides a distinct look. The open design of the Flamaker seats may be preferable if you live in a warm climate and prioritize airflow.
Weight and Portability
The Devoko set weighs 41.8 pounds. The Flamaker set is heavier at 50.7 pounds. The extra weight in the Flamaker set likely comes from the solid Acacia wood. Heavier furniture is generally more stable in wind but harder to move. The lighter Devoko set with its steel frame is easier to reposition on a balcony or patio. If you plan to rearrange your outdoor space frequently, the lighter build of the Devoko set offers a practical advantage for moving the chairs and table.
Which Patio Set Fits Your Needs
Budget-conscious renters seeking low maintenance
The Devoko set features a steel frame wrapped in PE rattan, which resists rot and decay without requiring regular sealing. Its toughened glass top wipes clean easily. The soft sponge-filled seats have removable covers for simple washing. This synthetic construction handles rain and wind well, making it ideal for busy lifestyles where upkeep time is limited.
Buyers prioritizing natural aesthetics and breathability
Flamaker uses solid Acacia wood for a natural look that integrates well into indoor or outdoor spaces. The chair backs have spaced gaps for better airflow, keeping you cooler in summer. The wood surface is polished and varnished for smoothness. This material choice offers a distinct, organic appearance that synthetic wicker cannot replicate, appealing to those who prefer natural textures.
Users needing sturdy support for heavier use
The Flamaker set weighs 50.7 pounds, indicating a robust solid wood construction. Solid Acacia wood provides better load-bearing capacity than many synthetic alternatives. The chairs feature a 110-degree back angle for improved support. While the Devoko set is lighter at 41.8 pounds, the Flamaker wood structure offers a more substantial feel and potentially greater durability against warping if maintained properly.
