Devoko vs Wisteria Lane Patio Sets
Set Type and Configuration
The Devoko set is a 3-piece conversation set, consisting of two chairs and one tea table. This compact arrangement is ideal for smaller spaces like balconies or small patios where you need a quick seating area. In contrast, the Wisteria Lane option is a 5-piece sectional set. The modular design allows for flexible configurations, making it suitable for larger backyards or expansive porches. If you need more seating capacity or want to arrange furniture in a U-shape for group conversations, the sectional layout of the Wisteria Lane set offers greater versatility than the fixed conversation style of the Devoko.
Frame Material and Build
Both sets prioritize durability through their frame construction, but they use different materials. The Devoko patio furniture set features a strong steel frame wrapped in PE rattan. This combination is noted for being sturdy enough to withstand rain and wind over time. The Wisteria Lane set uses a heavy-duty metal frame with a triple-layer protective coating. This specific engineering is designed to resist rust and corrosion, paired with handwoven wicker that resists UV rays. If you live in a humid or coastal area, the rust-resistant coating on the Wisteria Lane frame may offer better long-term protection against the elements compared to the standard steel frame of the Devoko.
Cushion Material and Maintenance
Comfort and ease of cleaning are key factors for outdoor furniture. The Devoko set uses soft sponge-filled seats with removable covers for easy maintenance. The Wisteria Lane set takes a step further by using high-density foam for firm support, which prevents the sagging that can occur with standard padding. Additionally, the Wisteria Lane cushions are covered in premium Olefin fabric. This material is specifically stain and wear-resistant, and the covers are fully machine washable. For buyers who want low-maintenance cushions that resist stains and provide consistent support, the Olefin fabric and high-density foam of the Wisteria Lane set are superior to the standard sponge filling of the Devoko.
Included Table
The Devoko set includes a dedicated tea table with dimensions of 15.75 inches by 15.75 inches and a height of 17.75 inches. The top is made of toughened glass, which is strong, light, and easy to clean with water. This provides a convenient surface for drinks or small items right within the seating area. The Wisteria Lane 5-piece sectional set description does not explicitly list an included table in its key specs or features. While sectionals often benefit from a side table, this set focuses purely on the seating components. If you need an immediate surface for your drinks without buying a separate piece, the Devoko set has the advantage by including a glass-top tea table.
Weight and Stability
The weight of the sets can indicate their stability and how well they resist tipping or moving in the wind. The Devoko 3-piece set weighs 41.8 pounds. This lighter weight makes it easier to move around if you need to rearrange your patio space. The Wisteria Lane 5-piece sectional is significantly heavier at 99.2 pounds. This substantial weight contributes to a more stable feel, especially for a larger sectional that needs to stay in place during breezes. However, it also makes the Wisteria Lane set much harder to move or store. If you prioritize a sturdy, fixed arrangement that won't shift, the heavier Wisteria Lane set is better. If you need lightweight furniture for frequent rearrangement, the Devoko is more practical.
