Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you prefer a larger gathering space. This three-piece set measures 142.3 by 110.6 inches, which may be too small for large patios. It does not include ottomans or additional seating options. If you need a modular setup that expands easily, this fixed configuration might limit you. Key specs explained
Frame Material: Aluminum
The frame uses aluminum rather than iron or steel. This material is naturally rust-free and resists UV damage from sun exposure. You do not need to cover the set during rain or snow. It stays sturdy without the heavy maintenance that steel frames require. If you live in a humid or coastal area, this material prevents corrosion and keeps the structure sound for years.
Cushion Thickness: 5 inches
Each cushion measures five inches in thickness. This provides a soft and flexible seating surface that supports your body comfortably. The padding is designed to remain full and not flatten quickly under regular use. You get better lumbar support compared to thinner outdoor cushions. This thickness helps you relax longer without feeling the hard frame beneath the fabric.
Piece Count: 3-piece
The set includes one three-seater sofa, two swivel chairs, and one coffee table. This configuration fits three to four people comfortably for conversation. The layout works well for small patios or balconies where space is limited. You get a complete seating arrangement without buying separate pieces. This count is ideal for couples or small families who want a cohesive outdoor living area.
Table Type: Coffee table
The set includes a dedicated coffee table with a tempered glass top. This provides a flat, stable surface for drinks, books, or decorative items. The glass is durable and easy to wipe clean after use. You have a central spot for the group to gather around. This type of table complements the sofa and chairs, creating a functional and organized seating zone for your patio.
Weight: 120 pounds
The entire set weighs 120 pounds. This weight indicates a solid construction that resists tipping in light winds. It is heavy enough to stay in place but manageable for rearranging on a flat patio. You do not need to bolt it down for stability. This mass ensures the furniture feels grounded and secure during everyday use or when guests lean back while relaxing.
Design and Build Analysis
According to the listing, the ASJMR set uses an upgraded aluminum frame. This material choice ensures the structure remains rust-free and UV resistant. You can leave this furniture outside in rain or snow without covering it. The frame supports a tempered glass coffee table top, adding a sleek, modern look to your patio. The aluminum construction keeps the unit lighter than iron alternatives, which may help when rearranging pieces.
The layout includes a three-seater sofa, two swivel chairs, and a coffee table. The chairs feature both swivel and rocking mechanisms. They rotate 360 degrees and rock slightly back and forth. This design allows you to adjust your seating angle for conversation or relaxation. The cushions are 5 inches thick, providing substantial padding. They use high-quality vertical cotton for comfort. Zipper and velcro closures allow for easy removal and cleaning. The pillows have an inlaid backrest design to prevent shifting.
The entire set measures 142.3 by 110.6 inches after assembly. The chairs stand 34.1 inches high. The total weight is 120 pounds. This size fits well in medium to large backyard or poolside areas. The sand color option blends with natural outdoor tones. You should ensure your space can accommodate the full footprint before purchasing. The included toolkit and instructions aim to simplify assembly for you.
