What stands out
- 3mm-thick aluminum frame with continuous loop design for stability
- 6-inch Olefin cushions with double-layer 28D foam

Who it fits
Good fit for
This set suits you if you have a backyard, deck, or porch and need space for five people. The 25-inch extra-wide seats allow you to stretch out comfortably. The rust-proof aluminum frame is ideal for humid climates or areas with rain. If you prefer a modern look with natural wood textures but want the durability of synthetic materials, this beige sectional fits well. The easy assembly makes it a good choice for those who want quick setup without complex tools.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if you need a fire pit table, as the base model includes only a coffee table. You can upgrade to a version with a fire pit, but the standard set does not include one. Also, avoid this if you prefer smaller footprints, as the 120-inch length requires significant space. If you dislike thick cushions, the 6-inch height might feel too high. Additionally, the set ships in multiple boxes, which may arrive separately, so plan your storage accordingly.
Verdict: The Aoxun 5-Seat Aluminum Sectional Set offers robust construction and generous seating for outdoor living spaces. Its durable materials and ergonomic design make it a practical choice for regular use.
Key specs explained for this set
Frame Material: Aluminum
This frame resists rust and cracking, unlike steel that corrodes or wood that warps. The 3mm thickness provides structural strength without excessive weight. You get a lightweight set that stays stable in wind. This material suits buyers who want low maintenance and long-term durability in outdoor conditions without the heaviness of wrought iron.
Cushion Thickness: 6 in
Six-inch cushions offer significantly more padding than standard two-inch outdoor options. This depth reduces pressure on your hips and back during long sessions. The extra volume helps the foam retain its shape over time. You benefit from plush comfort that mimics indoor furniture. This spec is ideal if you prioritize seating comfort over compact storage.
Cushion Fabric: Olefin
Olefin fabric is solution-dyed, meaning the color is locked inside the fiber. This resists UV fading, stains, and water better than cotton blends. You can leave these cushions outside with minimal worry about weather damage. The material breathes well and dries quickly. This choice suits buyers in sunny or rainy climates who want easy care and lasting color.
Seating Capacity: 5
This set accommodates five people comfortably. The five-seat configuration includes a sectional layout and a coffee table. This size fits medium patios or decks without overwhelming the space. You can host small gatherings or enjoy family time together. Compare this to smaller four-seat sets if you need more room, or larger seven-seat sets for bigger crowds.
Table Type: Coffee table
The included coffee table provides a flat surface for drinks and snacks. It anchors the seating arrangement and creates a functional conversation area. This type of table is lower than dining height, keeping the group intimate. You benefit from a complete set that requires no additional purchases. This spec is practical for casual lounging rather than formal dining.
Design and build details
The frame is constructed from aluminum with a 3mm thickness. This gauge provides structural strength while keeping the overall weight at 80 pounds. The lightweight design allows you to move pieces easily on a deck or porch. The frame features a continuous loop structure. This design distributes weight evenly to reduce wobbling during use.
According to the listing, the seating area includes extra-wide 25-inch seats. This width offers more room than standard patio furniture for stretching out. The cushions are 6 inches thick and filled with double-layer 28D foam. They are covered in 300G Olefin fabric with a UPF 63+ rating. This material resists UV fading, stains, and water for long-term outdoor performance.
The set includes a coffee table with HDPS panels that mimic a wood texture. These panels add a modern finish that resists weather damage. The entire unit measures 120 inches in length, 60 inches in width, and 30 inches in height. This footprint fits comfortably in backyards or on porches. The beige color option blends with natural outdoor surroundings. Assembly requires only three to five simple steps, making setup straightforward for most users.
Setup and everyday use guide
Assembly is straightforward due to the lightweight aluminum construction. You handle parts that weigh significantly less than steel alternatives, making individual pieces easier to position on a deck or porch. The set ships in multiple boxes, so you may receive components separately. Setup requires only three to five simple steps. Clear instructions and numbered hardware streamline the process, allowing you to connect the sectional pieces without specialized tools. The conversation set configuration encourages social interaction, while the included coffee table provides a stable surface for drinks or books. Daily maintenance is minimal. The 300G Olefin fabric cushions are solution-dyed, which ensures strong resistance to UV fading and water. This colorfastness helps the beige finish maintain its appearance over time. The 6-inch thick cushions with double-layer 28D foam offer plush seating that does not sag easily. You can wipe the surface clean to remove stains. The 105-degree ergonomic backrest and 3.6-inch widened armrests support balanced posture during extended use. The 25-inch extra-wide seats allow you to stretch out comfortably. The continuous loop frame distributes weight evenly, reducing wobbling when you sit or shift positions. The HDPS panels on the side boards and tabletop provide a wood-texture finish that resists weather damage. This durable material protects against stains and moisture. You can leave the set on your backyard or patio with confidence. The rust-proof and crack-resistant aluminum ensures long-term stability. Regular cleaning keeps the Olefin fabric looking pristine for years.
Before You Buy This Set
This Aoxun 5-Seat Aluminum Sectional Set fits well on decks, porches, or in the backyard. Its 60 by 120 inch footprint requires careful measurement. You must verify that your space can accommodate the sectional layout and the included coffee table. The beige Olefin cushions offer UPF 63+ protection, which helps resist UV fading, but you should still consider covers during harsh weather. The 6-inch thick cushions with double-layer foam provide plush seating, yet you may want to store them indoors during heavy rain to maintain their shape. Since the frame is aluminum, it resists rust, but you should still clean it periodically to remove dirt and debris. This set competes with other aluminum options by offering wider 25-inch seats. You should compare its 3mm frame thickness and 80-pound weight against similar models to ensure it meets your stability and mobility needs. Check if the solution-dyed fabric color matches your existing outdoor decor before purchasing.
