Vongrasig vs LHBcraft: Key Differences
Set configuration
Both sets include five pieces, but the layout differs slightly. The Vongrasig model provides two chairs, two ottomans, and one glass coffee table. It is designed as a small balcony set where each ottoman slides under the chair to save space. The LHBcraft set also offers two single chairs, two footstools, and one coffee table. It functions as both a lounge chair and sofa set. The LHBcraft footstools are also stored under the chairs when not in use. Both configurations prioritize compact storage for smaller outdoor areas like porches or balconies. You get similar utility from both, with ottomans serving as leg rests that tuck away neatly.
Frame material
The frame construction is a major point of distinction between these two brands. The Vongrasig set features a rust-proof steel frame wrapped in PE wicker. This combination offers a sturdy base that resists corrosion, which is important for outdoor durability. In contrast, the LHBcraft set uses a PE rattan frame. The product description highlights this as hand-woven rattan that is water-resistant and won't fade in humid climates. While both use synthetic rattan for the outer layer, the underlying support structure varies. You might prefer the steel frame for perceived rigidity or the all-rattan frame for a lighter, woven aesthetic. Both materials are built to withstand sun and rain.
Tabletop material
Both sets include a coffee table with a glass top, but the specifications provide different details. The Vongrasig table features a standard glass coffee tabletop measuring 19.7 inches by 19.7 inches. It is described as easy to clean and suitable for placing drinks or small plants. The LHBcraft set specifies a built-in tempered glass tabletop. Tempered glass is generally stronger and safer than standard glass, as it shatters into small, dull pieces rather than sharp shards. This is a notable safety and durability advantage for the LHBcraft model. If you have children or pets, the tempered glass on the LHBcraft table may offer better peace of mind during everyday use.
Cushion maintenance
Care for the cushions differs significantly between the two products. The LHBcraft set explicitly states that all cushion covers are removable and hand-washable. This feature allows you to clean the fabric easily without removing the entire cushion insert, which simplifies maintenance over time. The Vongrasig description mentions thick padded cushions and an ergonomic back for comfort, but it does not specify whether the covers are removable or washable. Without this information, you cannot assume the same level of convenience. If you live in an area with high pollen or dust, the washable covers on the LHBcraft set provide a practical cleaning advantage that the Vongrasig set does not confirm.
Weight capacity
Load limits are clearly defined for the LHBcraft set but not for the Vongrasig model. The LHBcraft specifications list a chair weight capacity of 352.74 pounds, a footstool capacity of 55.12 pounds, and a table capacity of 33.07 pounds. These numbers give you a clear idea of how much weight the furniture can safely support. The Vongrasig data does not provide specific weight limits for its chairs, ottomans, or table. While the Vongrasig set includes a rust-proof steel frame, which often implies strength, the lack of explicit numbers makes it harder to compare directly. If high weight capacity is a priority, the LHBcraft set offers verified data to support your decision.
Dimensions and size
The physical footprint of each set varies, which affects where you can place them. The Vongrasig set is labeled as small, with individual chair dimensions around 21.9 inches wide and 24.8 inches long. The total weight is 75.9 pounds. The LHBcraft set is larger, with overall dimensions reaching 64.7 inches in width and 67.7 inches in length, weighing 80.3 pounds. The LHBcraft set is more substantial and may require more floor space on your patio or balcony. The Vongrasig set is better suited for very tight spaces like small balconies. You should measure your area carefully, as the LHBcraft set is significantly wider and longer than the compact Vongrasig option.
