Vongrasig vs Homall Patio Sets
Set configuration
The Vongrasig set includes five pieces, featuring two chairs, two ottomans, and a glass coffee table. This configuration offers extra seating flexibility and a dedicated footrest that slides under the chair for space saving. The Homall set contains four pieces, comprising two single chairs, one double chair, and a table. This layout provides more seating capacity for groups with the double chair option. You get a different social dynamic with each. The Vongrasig focuses on individual comfort with ottomans, while the Homall prioritizes group seating. Both include a table for drinks or decor, but the piece count differs significantly.
Table design
Vongrasig includes a glass coffee table measuring 19.7 inches in length and width, with a height of 19.5 inches. The glass top is easy to clean and fits neatly between the two chairs. Homall features a classic tempered glass table that is 28.1 inches long and 16.1 inches wide, with a height of 15.4 inches. The Homall table is longer, offering more surface area for larger items. The Vongrasig table is more square and compact. Both tables support everyday use for placing books, drinks, or small plants. The choice depends on whether you prefer a compact square surface or a longer rectangular one.
Seating capacity
Vongrasig provides seating for two people using two individual chairs. Each chair is paired with an ottoman for leg support. This setup is ideal for couples or individuals who want personal space. Homall offers seating for three people, including two single chairs and one double chair. The double chair allows two people to sit together comfortably. This makes the Homall set better for small gatherings or family use. If you frequently host friends, the extra seat in the Homall set is practical. For private relaxation, the Vongrasig chairs offer focused comfort.
Frame material
Both sets utilize a steel frame construction, which provides a sturdy base for outdoor furniture. The Vongrasig frame is described as rust-proof, helping it withstand sun, rain, and humidity over time. Homall also uses solid steel, noting that professional laboratory testing ensures safety and stability. Both brands use PE rattan woven over the steel frame for weather resistance and aesthetic appeal. The steel frames support the weight of the cushions and users. You can expect similar durability from the structural materials. The choice between them comes down to specific design preferences rather than material quality.
Overall weight
The Vongrasig set weighs 75.9 pounds, making it a heavier option that likely offers more stability. The additional weight comes from the extra ottomans and the glass table. Homall sets weigh 52.9 pounds, which is significantly lighter. This makes the Homall set easier to move around on a patio or balcony if needed. The lighter weight might be a factor if you plan to rearrange your outdoor space frequently. Heavier sets like Vongrasig stay in place better during wind. Lighter sets like Homall offer more flexibility. Consider your need for mobility versus stability when choosing.
