Who it fits
Good fit for
This chaise suits poolside loungers who value low maintenance and easy cleaning. The Textilene fabric dries fast, making it ideal for humid climates or frequent splashing. Its wheeled base allows you to move it from shade to sun without effort. The adjustable backrest works well for readers who need neck support or those who prefer reclining during conversations. If you have a deck or yard where you rotate seating positions daily, this aluminum frame provides the necessary durability without the weight of heavier materials.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need a full set for large gatherings. This listing is for a single chair, so you will need to purchase additional units for multiple users. If you prefer a fixed, heavy-duty piece that stays in one spot, the wheels might be a drawback rather than a benefit. The narrow 22-inch width may not accommodate broader frames comfortably. Additionally, if you require a matching table included in the base price, note that the table is only available in the separate three-pack variation.
Verdict: This chair offers a practical blend of lightweight mobility and durable materials for solo relaxation. Its adjustable back and water-resistant fabric make it a solid choice for daily patio use.
Key specs explained for you
Seat Material: Textilene fabric
Textilene is a synthetic mesh that lets air pass through, keeping you cooler in direct sun. It dries quickly after rain, so you can sit sooner. This material resists fading and mildew better than cotton. You benefit from easy cleaning with just a hose. When comparing patio furniture sets, look for this fabric for low maintenance and long-term comfort in outdoor settings.
Frame Material: Aluminum
Aluminum frames are lightweight yet strong, resisting rust and corrosion. This makes the chair ideal for humid or coastal environments. You can move it easily without straining your back. Unlike steel, it does not require painting to prevent rust. When shopping for patio furniture sets, aluminum offers durability with minimal upkeep compared to heavier metal options.
Reclining Positions: 5-position
Five reclining positions allow you to adjust the backrest for sitting, lounging, or sunbathing. This flexibility supports different activities throughout the day. You can find a comfortable angle for reading or napping. Fixed chairs lack this adaptability. When evaluating patio furniture sets, multiple adjustment points add versatility, letting you customize comfort without needing additional cushions or supports.
Features: Wheels
Integrated wheels let you roll the chair across decks or patios with minimal effort. You can reposition it to follow the sun or move it indoors for storage. This mobility is useful on uneven surfaces. Without wheels, you must lift the chair. When comparing patio furniture sets, wheels add convenience for frequent rearrangement or seasonal storage.
Features: Armrests
Armrests provide stable support for your arms, reducing shoulder fatigue during long rests. They also help you push up from a seated position. The design adds comfort and stability. Chairs without armrests may feel less secure. When reviewing patio furniture sets, armrests enhance usability, making it easier to get in and out while offering a place to rest your drink or book.
Design and build details
The frame uses aluminum, which the listing notes is lightweight and rust-resistant. This makes the chair easier to move than steel options. The seat is Textilene fabric, a synthetic mesh that allows air to flow through. This design helps keep you cooler in direct sun and dries quickly after rain. The material resists fading and mildew, which suits outdoor use on decks or yards.
Dimensions are 75 inches long, 22 inches wide, and 39.8 inches high. The length provides ample space for lying flat. The width supports standard body sizes comfortably. Integrated armrests offer stable support for your arms. Smooth wheels are attached to the base, allowing you to roll the chair across smooth surfaces like concrete or pavers. This feature helps you reposition the chair easily or store it indoors.
The backrest adjusts to five positions. This range lets you shift from sitting upright to reclining fully. You can choose the angle that fits your activity, whether sunbathing or reading. The listing indicates the chair comes in various colors, including light green and black. Assembly is required, but the package includes all necessary parts and a step-by-step guide. This layout ensures you can set up the chair without specialized tools.
Setup and daily use guide
The listing states that assembly requires only the included parts and a step-by-step instruction manual. You do not need special tools to complete the setup. The manufacturer designs the chair for straightforward construction, allowing you to finish the process quickly. This approach minimizes the time spent before you can use the furniture.
Once assembled, the chair measures 75 inches in length, 22 inches in width, and 39.8 inches in height. These dimensions define the space it occupies on your deck, yard, or beach. The aluminum frame provides a lightweight structure that is easy to reposition. You can adjust the backrest to five distinct positions. This range allows you to shift from a flat sunbathing angle to an upright sitting position for conversation. The adjustment mechanism is integrated into the frame, requiring no external tools.
Two wheels are attached to the base, enabling smooth movement across flat surfaces. You can roll the chair to a new spot or bring it indoors for storage. The armrests offer stable support for your arms, reducing shoulder fatigue during long periods of rest. The Textilene fabric seat is water-resistant and dries fast. This means you can sit shortly after rain or morning dew. The fabric breathes well, which helps maintain comfort in warm weather. Routine care involves minimal effort, as the materials are designed for low maintenance. The chair fits well in outdoor settings where durability and easy cleaning are priorities.
Before you buy this chair
You should verify that your deck or yard surface accommodates the two wheels. Smooth concrete or pavers work best for effortless movement. Rough grass may hinder rolling. Since the listing specifies a single seat, you may need additional chairs for larger gatherings. Check the width of twenty-two inches against your available space. The light green color may not match all existing outdoor palettes. Consider the lake blue or dark gray alternatives if your decor requires a different tone. Upkeep involves wiping the textilene fabric with water. The aluminum frame resists rust, but you should store the chair indoors during harsh winters to extend its life. This option suits those prioritizing mobility and quick drying. It differs from heavier, static lounge chairs. You get a versatile piece that fits well in compact areas or by the pool. Ensure your space allows for the seventy-five-inch length when fully extended.
Check before you buy
- Check if your flooring is smooth enough for the wheels to roll easily.
- Verify your outdoor space can accommodate the seventy-five-inch length of the chair.
- Confirm the light green color matches your existing patio furniture and decor.
- Ensure you have enough room for the twenty-two-inch width and armrests.
