Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this set if you have a medium-sized patio or balcony that requires flexible seating arrangements. The modular nature allows you to customize the layout for daily relaxation or small gatherings. It suits buyers who want a fade-resistant and rustproof option that withstands sun and rain. The included glass-top coffee table and washable cushions add practicality for families who use their outdoor space frequently for chatting or sipping coffee. The classic modern style fits most outdoor decor preferences.
Who should skip it
You might want to look elsewhere if you need a dining set, as this collection only includes a coffee table. It is not suitable for those who prefer a solid wood frame, as the structure relies on metal. If you require a larger seating capacity for big parties, the seven-piece count may feel limited. Additionally, if you dislike the silver rattan and khaki cushion combination, note that other color options exist, but you must select from the available variations. This set is also not ideal if you need a complete dining table and chair configuration.
Verdict: This modular rattan set offers a versatile and weather-resistant seating solution for medium outdoor spaces. Its flexible layout and easy maintenance make it a practical choice for daily relaxation.
Key specs explained for Shintenchi
Piece Count: 7 Piece
This set includes seven distinct components, providing a complete seating arrangement for your outdoor space. You get enough pieces for small family gatherings or casual neighbor chats. The modular nature allows you to configure the layout to fit your specific patio or balcony dimensions. It is ideal if you need a full set without buying individual chairs and tables separately.
Frame Material: Metal
The structural core is built from heavy-duty metal, offering strong support for the rattan weave and cushions. Metal frames are generally more rigid and durable than wood or plastic alternatives. This material choice ensures the set remains stable during use. It is a practical choice for buyers seeking a long-lasting foundation that can withstand regular outdoor use without warping or breaking easily.
Table Type: Coffee table
The set features a glass-top coffee table rather than a dining-height table. This lower profile is designed for relaxed lounging, holding drinks, books, or snacks while you sit. It fits well in front of the seating arrangement. This style suits buyers who prioritize casual conversation and comfort over formal dining. It creates a cozy, informal atmosphere for your outdoor living area.
Weight: 70 pounds
The entire set weighs seventy pounds, indicating a substantial build that resists tipping or blowing away in light winds. This weight suggests sturdy construction but may require two people for moving. It is heavy enough to feel secure in place but light enough to rearrange occasionally. Consider this if you need a stable set that stays put without being permanently fixed to the ground.
Length: 100 inches
The total length of the assembled set is one hundred inches, which is approximately eight and a half feet. This dimension helps you visualize the footprint required on your patio or deck. It is suitable for medium-sized outdoor areas. Measure your space carefully to ensure this length fits comfortably without crowding other furniture or blocking walkways. It provides ample seating without dominating small yards.

Verify Dimensions And Upkeep Needs
Before you finalize this purchase, verify your space dimensions carefully. The set measures 100 inches in length and 25 inches in width. Ensure your patio or balcony can accommodate this footprint without blocking walkways. You must also check ceiling height if you plan to hang this on a covered porch, as the height is 24 inches. Regarding upkeep, the cushions are removable and machine washable, which helps with daily maintenance. However, you should provide a protective cover during heavy storms to extend the life of the silver PE rattan. This modular design fits well if you need flexible seating for small gatherings. It suits buyers who prioritize easy assembly and adaptable layouts over permanent, fixed arrangements.
