Oasbira vs Vongrasig Patio Sets Compared
Frame Material
The Oasbira set features a frame made from 3mm thickened aluminum. This material is described as 50 percent thicker than standard aluminum frames, providing superior strength and resistance to bending. It is finished with a premium powder coating that resists corrosion. The Vongrasig set uses a rust-proof steel frame wrapped in PE wicker rattan. Steel is durable but can be heavier. Aluminum is generally lighter and naturally rust-resistant. The Oasbira aluminum construction offers a robust yet lightweight structure that is easy to move. The Vongrasig steel frame provides solid stability but adds significant weight. Both materials are chosen for outdoor durability, but the aluminum on the Oasbira set offers a specific advantage in weight and corrosion resistance compared to the steel frame on the Vongrasig set.
Seating Capacity
The Oasbira set is a 4-piece conversation set designed for four people. It includes a sofa with generous dimensions, specifically a 31.5-inch seat width and 27.5-inch seat depth. This depth is significantly larger than the industry average of 24 to 26 inches, allowing users to stretch out fully. The Vongrasig set is a 5-piece set that includes two chairs and two ottomans. While the piece count is higher, the seating capacity is limited to two people. The chairs have a width of 21.9 inches. The Oasbira set provides double the seating capacity for gatherings. If you need to host more guests, the Oasbira configuration is the clear choice. The Vongrasig set is better suited for intimate spaces or couples.
Space Efficiency
The Vongrasig set is designed for small spaces like balconies or front porches. Each ottoman can slide completely under the chair when not in use. This hidden footrest feature saves precious floor space. The overall dimensions are smaller, with a chair width of 21.9 inches and a length of 24.8 inches. The Oasbira set is larger, with a sofa length of 55.9 inches and a seat depth of 27.5 inches. It requires more room to accommodate the deep seating and the coffee table. The Vongrasig design allows for flexible use of tight areas. You can pull out the ottoman only when needed. For small patios or narrow balconies, the Vongrasig set offers a distinct advantage in space management.
Cushion Comfort
The Oasbira set includes 6-inch thick cushions filled with high-density foam. These cushions are designed to withstand prolonged use and will not collapse for at least three years. The backrest is set at a 105-degree ergonomic angle to support posture. The Vongrasig set also features thick padded cushions and ergonomic chair backs. However, the specific thickness is not listed in the data. The Vongrasig ottomans provide a soft place to rest legs. The Oasbira cushions are explicitly rated for long-term durability and weight distribution. The 6-inch thickness on the Oasbira set provides substantial support for longer outdoor gatherings. The Vongrasig cushions offer comfort but lack the specific durability claims found in the Oasbira specifications.
Set Type
The Oasbira set is a 4-piece conversation set. It includes a sofa, likely two chairs, and a coffee table. The design allows for modular configuration, including options for 4, 5, or more pieces. It is built for group relaxation. The Vongrasig set is a 5-piece set comprising two chairs, two ottomans, and a glass coffee table. This configuration is unique because it includes individual footrests. The Vongrasig set is ideal for two people who want individual seating with leg support. The Oasbira set is better for groups who want to sit together on a sofa. The Vongrasig ottomans add versatility for small spaces, but the Oasbira sofa offers more communal seating options.
