Frame Material and Build Quality
Frame Material
The Oasbira set uses a 3mm thickened aluminum frame, which is 50 percent thicker than standard aluminum frames. This provides superior strength and resistance to bending while remaining lightweight. The LazySunsets set relies on a rust-proof steel frame wrapped in handwoven PE wicker. Steel is inherently heavier and stronger than aluminum but requires protective coating to prevent corrosion. Aluminum naturally resists rust, making it a low-maintenance choice for humid climates. Steel offers a solid, grounded feel but may require more care to prevent surface rust over time. Both materials are durable, but they serve different structural needs.
Cushion Thickness
Cushion thickness directly impacts long-term comfort and support. The Oasbira set features 6-inch thick cushions filled with high-density foam. This substantial depth allows for deeper seating and better weight distribution, reducing pressure points during extended use. The LazySunsets set includes 4-inch thick cushions made from high-resiliency foam. While thinner, these cushions are designed to resist sagging and provide lumbar support through breathable pillows. The 6-inch option offers a plush, lounge-like experience, whereas the 4-inch option provides firmer, more upright support. Your choice depends on whether you prefer deep sinking comfort or structured seating.
Table Type
The functional centerpiece of each set differs significantly. Oasbira includes a standard coffee table, ideal for placing drinks, books, or decorative items within easy reach. This is a versatile addition for general conversation and casual dining. LazySunsets includes a 50,000 BTU propane-powered fire pit table. This feature adds ambient warmth and visual appeal, extending the usability of your patio into cooler evenings. The fire pit table serves as a focal point for gatherings, offering both utility and atmosphere. If you value warmth and drama, the fire pit is a major advantage. For simple surface utility, the standard coffee table is sufficient.
Piece Count
The scale of the set determines how many people you can host. The Oasbira set is a 4-piece configuration, designed for intimate gatherings or smaller spaces. It includes seating for four people, making it suitable for balconies, small decks, or cozy corners. The LazySunsets set is a massive 12-piece configuration, including a 7-piece sectional and additional components. This setup accommodates larger groups and can be arranged in L-shapes or U-shapes. It requires significantly more floor space but offers greater flexibility for hosting family events or parties. Choose Oasbira for compact efficiency, and LazySunsets for expansive entertaining.
Seating Capacity
Seating capacity defines the social utility of your patio furniture. The Oasbira set explicitly seats four people, with a seat width of 31.5 inches and depth of 27.5 inches. This generous depth allows users to stretch out fully, accommodating various body sizes comfortably. The LazySunsets set includes a 7-piece sectional with four armless chairs, two corner chairs, and additional pieces. While the exact total seating capacity for the full 12-piece set is not explicitly stated as a single number, the modular design allows for flexible arrangement to fit more users. The Oasbira offers guaranteed space for four, while LazySunsets offers scalable capacity for larger groups.
Oasbira vs LazySunsets: Choose Your Set
You want a compact, spacious conversation set
The Oasbira 4-piece set offers generous dimensions with a 31.5-inch seat width and 27.5-inch depth. This exceeds typical industry averages, allowing you to stretch out comfortably. The 6-inch thick cushions provide lasting support, while the 3mm aluminum frame ensures durability without excessive weight. It fits well on decks or balconies where space is limited but comfort is key.
You need a large gathering set with heat
The LazySunsets 12-piece set includes a 50,000 BTU propane fire pit table, adding warmth for cool evenings. Its modular design allows you to configure the sectional into L-shapes or U-shapes for large groups. The rust-proof steel frame supports the substantial wicker construction, making it ideal for spacious backyards where you can host extensive outdoor gatherings throughout the year.
You prioritize lightweight frames and easy moving
Aluminum is significantly lighter than steel, making the Oasbira set easier to rearrange or move. The 3mm thickened frame resists bending while keeping the overall weight manageable. If you frequently adjust your patio layout or store furniture seasonally, this lightweight construction offers practical flexibility. The powder coating also helps maintain a sleek look with minimal maintenance effort over time.
You prefer traditional wicker aesthetics and durability
The LazySunsets set features handwoven PE wicker over a steel frame, offering a classic outdoor look. This combination resists sun, rain, and snow without cracking or fading. The durable materials ensure lasting beauty for years. If you value the textured appearance of wicker and need a set that withstands harsh weather conditions while maintaining its visual appeal, this option suits your needs.
