Who it fits
Good fit for
You should choose this set if you want a compact dining solution for small balconies or porches. The lightweight cast aluminum frame allows you to move the chairs and table easily. The 300-pound chair capacity suits most adults comfortably. The olefin cushions add comfort without adding significant weight. The floral design works well in gardens or by a poolside. If you need a sturdy, low-maintenance set for two people, this spec sheet confirms it fits your space.
Who should skip it
You might want to look elsewhere if you need a larger dining area. This set only includes one table and two chairs. The table diameter is 23.7 inches, which limits plate space. You cannot place this on uneven ground without adjusting the rubber feet. The set does not include an umbrella, so you must buy one separately. If you prefer a rectangular table or more seating, this bistro configuration is too small for your needs.
Verdict: The NUU Garden 3-Piece Cast Aluminum Bistro Set offers a weather-resistant, compact dining option for two. Its cast aluminum construction and olefin cushions provide durability for small outdoor spaces.
Key specs explained for this set
Frame Material: Cast aluminum
Cast aluminum is a solid metal formed by pouring molten material into a mold. This process creates a heavy, durable frame that resists rust, fading, and cracking in outdoor weather. Unlike thin-walled steel, it does not corrode easily. You get a sturdy structure that withstands rain and sun without requiring frequent painting or sealing for long-term durability.
Cushion Fabric: Olefin
Olefin is a synthetic fiber known for its high resistance to moisture and stains. It dries quickly after rain and does not absorb water like cotton or linen. This makes it ideal for outdoor use where spills or dew are common. The fabric maintains its color and shape better than natural fibers when exposed to direct sunlight and regular cleaning.
Piece Count: 3-Piece
This set includes one round dining table and two matching bistro chairs. The three-piece configuration is designed for intimate seating for two people. It occupies less floor space than larger dining sets, making it suitable for small patios, balconies, or narrow porches. You get a complete seating arrangement without the bulk of a four or six-piece ensemble.
Umbrella Hole: 1.97 inch
The table features a 1.97-inch diameter hole in the center to accommodate a standard patio umbrella pole. This allows you to add shade protection without obstructing the seating area. The size fits most common market umbrellas. You can enjoy protection from UV rays and rain while keeping the table surface clear for dining or placing drinks.
Table Type: Dining table
The central piece is a round dining table with a height of 25.9 inches. This standard dining height pairs with the 35-inch chair seats for comfortable eating posture. The round shape eliminates sharp corners, improving safety in tight spaces and allowing easier conversation between seated guests. It serves as the functional center for meals and drinks.
Design and Build Details
The listing specifies a cast aluminum frame with an antique bronze finish. This material choice provides rust resistance and structural solidity. The frame is described as sturdy yet lightweight, allowing you to move the set with relative ease. The finish includes carefully burnished spotwelds, which suggests a focus on durability against weather and fading. You can expect the metal to hold up season after season without chipping or cracking.
According to the listing, the table features a delicate floral design inspired by a flower in full bloom. Each foot includes an adjustable anti-slip rubber base. This feature helps the set fit uneven ground, making it suitable for patios, lawns, or poolside areas. The table has a 1.97-inch umbrella hole, allowing you to add shade protection. The chairs have curved backrests and slightly curved seats for ergonomic support.
The set includes olefin cushions, which are known for their water resistance and durability. Olefin fabric is a synthetic material that dries quickly and resists mildew, ideal for outdoor use. The chairs weigh 25.7 pounds, contributing to the set's overall stability. The layout consists of one 23.7-inch round table and two bistro chairs. This configuration fits well in smaller spaces like porches or gardens, offering a compact dining area without overwhelming the environment.
Setup and Daily Use Guide
Assembly involves following the detailed manual provided with the set. The cast aluminum frame is described as strong yet lightweight, which simplifies the process and allows you to move the pieces with relative ease. You will need to attach the components using the complete accessories included in the package. The listing notes that the assembly is straightforward, requiring no specialized tools beyond what is provided.
Once assembled, the set functions as a three-piece bistro arrangement. The table measures 23.7 inches in diameter and stands 25.9 inches high. Each chair is 20.5 inches long, 15 inches wide, and 35 inches high. The chairs feature a curved backrest and slightly curved seat to fit your body, supporting up to 300 pounds per chair. The olefin cushions add a layer of comfort, though you can also select variations without cushions if you prefer a firmer seating surface.
The table includes a 1.97-inch umbrella hole, allowing you to insert a standard patio umbrella for shade. Note that the umbrella itself is not included. The feet of the chairs have adjustable anti-slip rubber bases, which help stabilize the set on uneven ground. This feature ensures the furniture remains secure during daily use on patios, porches, or lawns. The cast aluminum construction resists rust, fading, and chipping, making it suitable for long-term outdoor placement without frequent maintenance.
What You Need Before Buying
Before finalizing your purchase, consider what else fits your outdoor space. This set includes an umbrella hole measuring 1.97 inches. You must buy a compatible patio umbrella separately. Ensure the pole diameter matches this opening for stability and shade. Check the cushion fabric type. The listing specifies olefin material, which resists moisture and fading better than standard fabrics. Verify the size options. You can choose gray, green, or no cushions. Confirm the chair height matches your preference, as variations exist. Maintenance is minimal. The cast aluminum frame resists rust and weather damage. Wipe the antique bronze finish occasionally to maintain its look. This bistro set suits small patios, porches, or poolside areas. It occupies less space than larger dining sets. If you need seating for more than two people, look at four-piece or five-piece options. For a single seat, a standalone chair might be better. This three-piece arrangement offers a balanced footprint for intimate gatherings.
