You are looking for merax large 4 piece outdoor patio furniture set alternatives because the Merax set has specific traits you might want to change. This set seats five people and includes fold-out side tables on every chair and the sofa. Its aluminum frame resists rust and features adjustable feet for stability on uneven ground. The thick cushions stay in place with Velcro, and the coordinated grey design fits garden spaces well.
However, you might need a different seating capacity or a more compact footprint. Some buyers prefer a three-seater configuration for smaller balconies or decks. Others may want a lighter set that is easier to move around. The alternatives listed here were chosen because their specifications overlap with the Merax set. They all use aluminum frames and include cushions. You can compare their dimensions, weight, and piece counts to find the best fit for your outdoor area.
Our top pick: Merax 4-Piece Grey Patio Set.
How each alternative compares
Vexwalx 3-Seat Aluminum Patio Sofa with Coffee Table
The Vexwalx set drops the extra chairs to focus on a single 3-seater, making it lighter at 67.3 pounds compared to the Merax’s 90 pounds. It measures 74.8 inches long, slightly longer than the Merax sofa. You gain a dedicated sectional layout suitable for balconies or decks. The Vexwalx model omits the fold-out side tables found on the Merax, prioritizing a cleaner profile. If you need deep, resort-grade comfort for one or two people, this aluminum frame offers durable, low-maintenance seating without the bulk of a full conversation set.
ZANDOR 4-Piece Aluminum 3-Seater Patio Set
The ZANDOR 4-piece set keeps the four-piece count but removes the fold-out side tables entirely. It weighs 70 pounds, lighter than the Merax, and focuses on washable cushions for easy care. This set fits small patios where you prioritize maintenance over extra utility. The ZANDOR model offers a standard coffee table instead of integrated side surfaces. You choose this if you want a sturdy aluminum frame for a backyard or porch without the complexity of moving parts. It seats three people, matching the Merax’s primary seating but trading convenience features for simplicity.
Garvee 3-Seat Aluminum Sofa Set
The Garvee set is a 3-seat configuration, seating two fewer people than the Merax. It weighs only 61.7 pounds, making it the lightest option here. This model includes a coffee table but lacks the fold-out side tables that define the Merax experience. At 73.6 inches long, it is slightly shorter than the Merax sofa. You should pick this if you need lightweight, rust-resistant seating for a compact patio or balcony. It provides basic comfort without the extra accent chairs, focusing on a simple conversation setup for three people in limited spaces.
IDEALHOUSE 3-Seat Aluminum Sofa
The IDEALHOUSE set is a 3-seat sofa that weighs 107 pounds, significantly heavier than the Merax. It includes a coffee table but omits the fold-out side tables. This model measures 73.6 inches long, similar to the Merax but with a different weight distribution. You choose this if you need a sturdy, basic sofa for small balconies or limited patio spaces. It offers essential comfort without extra features. The heavier build may provide stability, but you lose the flexibility of the Merax’s side tables and the ability to seat five people. It is a straightforward option for tight areas.
ZANDOR Grey 1-Seater Aluminum Armchair
The ZANDOR 1-seater is a single armchair, drastically reducing capacity from five to one person. It weighs 70 pounds and features thick 5.5-inch cushioning for solo lounging. This model is designed for compact balconies or porches, offering rust-resistant aluminum construction. You pick this if you need individual seating rather than a group set. It lacks the coffee table and side tables of the Merax, focusing purely on comfort for one. This is ideal for small spaces where you only need a single spot to relax, prioritizing deep cushioning over group seating capacity.
ComfCove 11-Seat Aluminum Patio Sectional
The ComfCove set expands capacity to 11 seats, far exceeding the Merax’s five-person limit. It weighs 163 pounds, nearly double the Merax, and measures 102 inches long. This large sectional includes a coffee table but no fold-out side tables. You choose this for large outdoor gatherings or spacious decks where capacity matters most. The substantial aluminum frame offers weather-resistant materials but sacrifices portability. It is built for families who need extensive seating. You trade the Merax’s convenience features for sheer volume, making it a centerpiece for large social events rather than intimate gatherings.
