If you are looking for may in color 7 pieces outdoor patio furniture set alternatives, you might want a different size or material. The original May in Color set offers a modular design with a steel frame and beige wicker. It includes seven pieces and weighs 63 pounds. This configuration suits small patios that need flexible seating arrangements. The deep cushions and included coffee table add practical comfort for everyday use.
You may prefer another option if you need a lighter frame, a fire pit, or a different material like aluminum. The alternatives on this list were chosen because their specs overlap with the original. For example, some sets use wicker rattan or aluminum for rust resistance. Others include propane fire pits for warmth. You can compare piece counts, weights, and frame materials to find the right fit for your outdoor space.
Our top pick: May in Color 7-Piece Modular Wicker Patio Set.
How each alternative compares
LazySunsets 7-Piece Beige Wicker Set
The LazySunsets set also offers seven pieces in beige, but it weighs only 20 pounds. This is significantly lighter than the 63-pound May in Color model. It uses a wicker and rattan construction rather than a steel frame. You get a conversation set with cushions and a coffee table. This option is best for small patios where you need flexible seating that is easy to move. It gives up the heavy-duty permanence of steel for portability. Choose this if you prioritize easy maintenance and modular arrangements over a robust, fixed structure.
UDPATIO 7-Piece Wicker Sectional with Fire Pit
The UDPATIO set is much heavier at 160 pounds compared to the 63-pound original. It includes a fire pit, which the May in Color set lacks. The frame is wicker, similar to the original, but the dimensions are different with a height of 28.4 inches. This sectional is designed for cozy gatherings and extended comfort. It is not portable due to its weight. You should pick this if you want warmth and deep seating on a deck where you can leave the furniture in place. It sacrifices lightness for a substantial, integrated heating feature.
Aoxun 7-Piece Wicker Patio Set
The Aoxun Cream-brown set differs in color and frame material. It uses a wicker frame rather than steel. The dimensions are wider at 40.2 inches in width and height, making it larger than the original. It includes cushions for comfort. This set is suitable for backyard, garden, or poolside use. It offers solid comfort and weather resistance. You should choose this if you value thick cushions and easy maintenance. It gives up the modular steel base for a different wicker construction. The larger footprint may not fit small spaces as well as the original.
Aoxun 7-Piece Wicker Rattan Sectional
This Aoxun model includes a propane fire pit table, a feature absent in the May in Color set. It weighs 40 pounds, which is lighter than the original. The set is beige and made of wicker and rattan. It offers modular seating with wide, thick cushions. The fire pit provides 50,000 BTU for cool evenings. This option is best for buyers who prioritize durable seating with integrated heating. It sacrifices the simple coffee table for a functional fire feature. The lighter weight makes it easier to move than the heavier UDPATIO option, but it still requires a stable base.
Aoxun 4-Piece Aluminum Patio Set with 6-Inch Cushions
The Aoxun Aluminum set is a 4-piece conversation set, not a 7-piece sectional. It uses a rust-proof aluminum frame, unlike the steel or wicker frames of the others. It weighs 60 pounds, similar to the original. The set includes thick 6-inch cushions and a coffee table. It is designed for small patios, porches, or backyards. This option is best if you want a lightweight, stable set. It gives up the modular sectional configuration for a compact conversation layout. The aluminum material offers different durability characteristics compared to the wicker and steel of the original.
Aoxun 7-Piece Elevated Wicker Sectional
This Aoxun elevated sectional weighs 90 pounds, heavier than the original. It is a 7-piece set with beige wicker and thick cushions. The dimensions are larger, with a width of 50 inches and length of 80 inches. It includes a coffee table. This set provides durable, modular seating with airflow benefits due to its elevated design. It is best for those who value layout flexibility over portability. It gives up the compact size of the original for a more substantial footprint. Choose this if you want a larger, more permanent seating arrangement for your backyard or garden.
