In this luxadomus 7 piece outdoor dining review, we look at a steel set designed for durability and comfort. The set includes one table and six chairs, built with galvanized steel frames for weather resistance. Each chair features a soft cushion made from high-density sponge, which helps distribute body pressure during long meals. The table measures 71.7 inches in length, providing ample space for gatherings. With a weight of 152 pounds, the structure feels sturdy. Adjustable foot pads ensure stability on uneven surfaces like decks or patios.
What stands out
- Galvanized steel frame with electrostatic spray coating resists rust and peeling.
- Embossed wood grain texture on the table offers a realistic look that wipes clean easily.
- High-density sponge cushions are secured with straps for easy removal and washing.
- Rotatable foot pads adjust to uneven ground, preventing shaking and floor scratches.
Who it fits
Good fit for
This set suits households that need a sturdy, weather-resistant dining area for patios, decks, or poolside spots. The 350-pound chair capacity and 400-pound table limit make it safe for heavier users. The adjustable foot pads are ideal for uneven tile or concrete surfaces. If you want a low-maintenance set with comfortable seating for family dinners, this galvanized steel option fits your needs well.
Who should skip it
You might want to look elsewhere if you prefer lightweight furniture that is easy to move frequently. At 152 pounds, this set is heavy and less portable than aluminum or resin alternatives. Additionally, if you dislike the black color scheme, this specific model only comes in black. The cushions are attached with straps, which may not appeal to those who prefer removable, loose cushions that can be stored indoors during winter.
Verdict: The LuxaDomus 7-Piece Black Steel Dining Set offers solid durability and comfort for outdoor gatherings. Its robust steel construction and adjustable feet make it a practical choice for stable, long-term patio use.
Key Specs for This Set
Frame Material: Galvanized steel
Galvanized steel means the metal is coated with zinc to resist rust and corrosion. This material choice offers stronger weather resistance and load-bearing performance compared to HDPE plastic. You can leave this set outdoors in rain or sun without worrying about peeling or rusting. It supports heavy daily use, making it a durable option for long-term outdoor dining.
Piece Count: 7-piece
This set includes one dining table and six matching chairs. The count of seven pieces provides ample seating for small family gatherings or casual dinners with friends. If you need fewer seats, variations with four chairs are available. This configuration is ideal for decks or patios where you frequently host groups for meals or relaxed conversations.
Seating Capacity: 6
The table is designed to comfortably seat six people. This capacity suits medium-sized households or regular social gatherings. Each chair supports up to 350 pounds, ensuring stability for most users. The generous seating area allows for comfortable dining without crowding, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces like gardens or poolside areas.
Weight: 152 pounds
Weighing 152 pounds, this set is substantial and stable. The heavy frame helps keep the furniture secure during windy conditions, reducing the risk of tipping. However, this weight means moving the set requires effort. It is best suited for a permanent spot on a deck or patio rather than for frequent relocation or storage in tight spaces.
Design and Build Details
According to the listing, the LuxaDomus set uses galvanized steel pipes for its frame. This metal is treated with electrostatic spraying to resist rain and sun damage. The manufacturer states this finish prevents peeling or rusting. The surface features an embossed wood grain texture. You can clean it with a damp cloth. This design aims to look like wood while offering stronger load-bearing performance than HDPE plastic. The set includes six dining chairs and one table. Each chair cushion uses high-density sponge for support. Straps hold the cushions in place for easy removal and cleaning. The chair backs have a unique hollow pattern for an artistic touch.
The table measures 71.7 inches in length, 39.4 inches in width, and 29.5 inches in height. The entire 7-piece set weighs 152 pounds. This weight suggests stability for daily use. The listing notes a 400-pound capacity for the table and 350 pounds per chair. These figures indicate the set can handle heavy items and multiple users. Adjustable foot pads are included on all legs. You can rotate them to level the set on uneven ground. This feature helps prevent shaking and reduces noise when moving the furniture.
The black color and steel construction make it suitable for decks, gardens, or poolside areas. The versatile design allows placement in both outdoor and indoor spaces. The set ships in three packages, which may arrive separately. Assembly instructions are provided for one-person setup. The material choices prioritize durability and low maintenance. You do not need special treatments to keep the steel looking new. The cushion covers can be taken off for washing. This practical design supports long-term outdoor dining.
Setup and Everyday Use Guide
The LuxaDomus dining set arrives in three separate packages, which may be delivered in batches. You will need to assemble the table and six chairs yourself. The manufacturer provides detailed installation instructions, noting that one person can complete the setup without additional help. Once assembled, the set stands at 29.5 inches high, with a table length of 71.7 inches and a width of 39.4 inches. This footprint fits well on decks, patios, or poolside areas.
Daily use involves managing the cushions and adjusting the feet. Each chair includes a soft seat cushion made of high-density sponge. Straps secure these cushions to the chair frames, allowing you to remove them easily for cleaning. You can wipe the embossed wood-grain table surface clean with just a damp cloth, requiring minimal maintenance time.
The set sits on rotatable foot pads. You can adjust the height of each leg by rotating the pads. This feature ensures all four legs remain flat on uneven floor tiles, preventing shakes while you eat or place drinks on the table. The pads also reduce noise when metal contacts the ground and help protect surfaces from scratches. With a total weight of 152 pounds, the structure is stable. Each chair supports up to 350 pounds, while the table holds 400 pounds. This capacity handles daily dining and various heavy objects without issue.
Check Space And Storage Needs
Before you buy this LuxaDomus set, check your outdoor space dimensions. The table measures 71.7 inches long and 39.4 inches wide. Ensure you have enough room for the six chairs to open fully without hitting walls or fences. You should also verify the weight capacity if you plan to place heavy items on the surface, as the table supports up to 400 pounds. While the cushions are removable for cleaning, you may need separate storage for them during harsh winter months to prolong their life. Consider adding a protective cover if you live in an area with heavy snow or hail. This steel set fits well alongside other durable options in our guide, offering strong load-bearing performance. However, if you prefer lighter materials, you might want to compare it against aluminum or HDPE alternatives. Always measure your deck or patio area carefully to ensure a comfortable fit for daily use.
