Comparing LazySunsets and ComfCove Sets
Set composition
LazySunsets offers a comprehensive 12-piece outdoor conversation set. This large ensemble includes a fire pit table, modular sectional components, and ample seating for groups. It is designed for expansive patios or decks where space allows for a substantial arrangement. In contrast, ComfCove focuses on a more compact M-2 Seats configuration. This option features a loveseat design intended for smaller spaces like balconies or porches. You choose between a grand gathering setup and a cozy, intimate seating area based on your available square footage and hosting needs.
Frame material
The structural integrity of each set relies on different metals. LazySunsets utilizes a rust-proof steel frame wrapped in handwoven PE wicker. Steel provides a robust foundation that supports the heavier modular components and the integrated fire pit table. ComfCove employs a powder-coated aluminum frame. Aluminum is naturally rust-resistant and significantly lighter than steel, which can make repositioning the furniture easier. Both materials are treated to resist corrosion and fading, ensuring longevity in various weather conditions, though steel offers a different weight profile compared to the lighter aluminum construction.
Key features
Feature sets define the utility of each brand. LazySunsets includes a 50,000 BTU propane-powered fire pit table with explosion-proof glass stones. This adds warmth and visual appeal, making the set suitable for cooler evenings. ComfCove does not list a fire pit feature in its specifications. Instead, it emphasizes oversized seating dimensions, with a 24.5-inch width and 27.5-inch depth per seat, along with a tall 30.8-inch high backrest. You get either a heating element and modular layout or enhanced ergonomic dimensions and back support.
Cushion specifications
Comfort levels vary in cushion design and material. LazySunsets provides high-resiliency foam cushions with a thickness of 4 inches. These are paired with breathable pillows for lumbar support, and the covers are machine washable for easy maintenance. ComfCove uses high-density foam filled cushions made from waterproof olefin fabric. The olefin material is noted for being quick-drying and fade-resistant. While LazySunsets specifies the exact thickness, ComfCove highlights the durability and water resistance of its fabric, catering to different preferences in comfort and care.
Recommended placement
Both sets are designed for outdoor use but target slightly different environments. LazySunsets is recommended for backyards, suggesting a need for more open ground space to accommodate its 12-piece modular layout and fire pit. ComfCove lists decks, porches, balconies, and yards as recommended locations. Its compact M-2 Seats size makes it particularly suitable for smaller urban spaces like balconies where square footage is limited. You should consider the dimensions of your outdoor area to determine which set fits best without overcrowding the space.
