6 Best Alternatives to the LayinSun 9 Pieces Outdoor Patio Furniture Set (2026)

If you are looking for layinsun 9 pieces outdoor patio furniture alternatives, you have several strong options. The original LayinSun set features a heavy 243-pound metal frame and 4-inch Olefin cushions. It offers a stable, stationary base with 360-degree swivel chairs. This configuration suits buyers who want a durable, high-capacity gathering spot that stays in place.
However, you might prefer a different material, size, or feature set. Some users need lighter aluminum frames for easier moving. Others may want integrated fire pits or bar-height seating. The alternatives listed here were chosen because their specifications overlap with the original’s key attributes. You will find options with HDPE frames, modular layouts, and varied piece counts. Each selection addresses specific needs that the standard 9-piece wicker set may not cover, such as enhanced portability or specialized dining configurations.
Our top pick: LayinSun 9-Piece Swivel Rocking Wicker Set.
How each alternative compares
SERWALL 12-Piece HDPE Outdoor Dining Set
The SERWALL 12-Piece HDPE Dining Set swaps the LayinSun’s 243-pound metal frame for a lighter 45-pound HDPE construction. This shift makes the set significantly easier to move, though it reduces the heavy-duty stability of the original. You gain capacity for ten chairs and two tables, which exceeds the LayinSun’s nine-piece count. However, you give up the 4-inch Olefin cushions and swivel rocking chairs. The SERWALL set focuses on durable, easy-clean dining surfaces rather than lounge comfort. Choose this if you prioritize seating capacity and low maintenance over plush, stationary seating.
Aoxun 10-Piece Wicker Set with Fire Pit Table
The Aoxun 10-Piece Wicker Set with Fire Pit Table adds integrated propane heat to your outdoor space, a feature the LayinSun lacks entirely. It uses a wicker and rattan material instead of the LayinSun’s metal frame and manual wicker. This set weighs 339 pounds, making it much heavier and less portable than the 243-pound LayinSun. You get substantial seating for large patios but must provide your own gas tank. Select this option if you need ambient heat and a larger footprint, and you have a permanent spot for such a heavy, feature-rich ensemble.
Aoxun 10-Piece Modular Wicker Patio Set
The Aoxun 10-Piece Modular Wicker Patio Set offers flexible layout options that the fixed LayinSun configuration cannot match. It uses wicker materials similar to the original but allows you to customize the seating arrangement for large gatherings. The LayinSun provides a specific coffee table with storage, whereas this modular set prioritizes adaptable sectional pieces. You trade the LayinSun’s 4-inch thick Olefin cushions and stable metal base for versatile, modular furniture. Pick this alternative if you need to reconfigure your patio layout frequently and prefer modular flexibility over a single, stable dining or conversation setup.
SERWALL 8-Piece HDPE Bar Set
The SERWALL 8-Piece HDPE Bar Set introduces elevated seating with a 45.6-inch height, contrasting sharply with the LayinSun’s 33.7-inch chair height. This design clears views from balconies, a benefit the standard-height LayinSun does not offer. It uses HDPE material instead of the LayinSun’s metal frame and wicker. The set weighs 360 pounds, making it heavier than the original despite having fewer pieces. You lose the LayinSun’s swivel rocking function and 4-inch cushions for bar-height durability. Choose this if you need elevated seating for clear sightlines and do not require low-profile lounge comfort.
Aoxun 5-Piece Aluminum Fire Pit Patio Set
The Aoxun 5-Piece Aluminum Fire Pit Patio Set offers a compact solution with integrated fire pit functionality, which the LayinSun does not provide. It uses aluminum construction instead of the LayinSun’s metal frame and wicker. This set weighs only 80 pounds, making it much lighter and more portable than the 243-pound LayinSun. You sacrifice the LayinSun’s nine-piece capacity and 4-inch Olefin cushions for a smaller, focused gathering space. Select this if you have a small patio and want heat and ambiance without the bulk of a full nine-piece ensemble.
Aoxun 5-Piece Aluminum Patio Sectional Set
The Aoxun 5-Piece Aluminum Patio Sectional Set provides wide, ergonomic seating with a 120-inch length, differing from the LayinSun’s individual swivel chairs. It uses rust-proof aluminum instead of the LayinSun’s metal frame and manual wicker. The set weighs 120 pounds, which is lighter than the LayinSun’s 243-pound frame. You gain a continuous sectional layout with a coffee table but lose the 360-degree swivel feature and 4-inch Olefin cushions. Pick this alternative if you prefer a unified sectional design for small patios and value durable, low-maintenance aluminum over swivel rocking functionality.
