6 Best Alternatives to the LayinSun 5-Piece 7-Seat Aluminum Patio (2026)

How these options differ

Oasbira 3-Seat Aluminum Outdoor Sofa

The Oasbira 3-Seat Aluminum Outdoor Sofa offers a more compact footprint than the LayinSun set. At 80.3 inches wide, it fits smaller patios where the 7-seat LayinSun model would dominate the space. You give up the height-adjustable table and the ability to seat seven people. Instead, you get a dedicated 3-seater with a graphite finish. The frame is still aluminum, so you retain rust resistance and sturdiness. This option suits those who prioritize deep seating for two or three people over large group capacity. It is a practical choice for balconies or decks where space is at a premium but you still want a robust aluminum frame.

Vexwalx Aluminum 2-Seat Loveseat

The Vexwalx Aluminum 2-Seat Loveseat focuses on compact lounging with thicker cushions than the LayinSun. Its 7.1-inch cushions provide a softer seat compared to the 6-inch LayinSun sponge. At 50 inches long, it is significantly shorter than the LayinSun’s 35-inch table length, making it ideal for small balconies. You lose the table and the 7-seat capacity. However, you gain a low-profile design that weighs only 48.8 pounds. This makes it much easier to move than the 188-pound LayinSun set. It is best for couples or solo users who want resort-grade comfort in a tight space without the bulk of a full patio suite.

Kiss the Water 3-Seat Aluminum Patio Sofa

The Kiss the Water 3-Seat Aluminum Patio Sofa provides a middle ground in size. At 73.1 inches long, it is longer than the Vexwalx but narrower than the LayinSun’s total footprint. It features a black and light gray color scheme, offering a different aesthetic than the LayinSun’s light grey. You sacrifice the adjustable table and the 7-seat capacity. In return, you get a sturdy aluminum frame with thick cushions suitable for three people. The 58-pound weight makes it lighter and more manageable than the 188-pound LayinSun. This set is a good fit for small backyards or porches where you need durable seating for a few people without taking up excessive room.

Amopatio 2-Piece Aluminum Armchair Set

The Amopatio 2-Piece Aluminum Armchair Set breaks the seating into individual units rather than a unified sofa. Each chair is a 1-seater, allowing you to arrange them flexibly. This contrasts with the fixed layout of the LayinSun 7-seat set. You give up the communal seating experience and the height-adjustable table. However, you gain versatility in placement. The dark grey and grey color option provides a modern look. Each chair is lightweight, making it easy to rearrange as needed. This option is ideal for buyers who prefer individual seating over a large, heavy sofa. It works well in spaces where you want to create distinct seating zones or need to store chairs away when not in use.

Wisteria Lane 2-Seat Aluminum Patio Loveseat

The Wisteria Lane 2-Seat Aluminum Patio Loveseat is a compact alternative for smaller outdoor areas. At 50 inches long, it is much shorter than the LayinSun’s table length. It features dark grey cushions that contrast with the LayinSun’s light grey. You lose the 7-seat capacity and the adjustable table. However, you gain a lightweight frame that weighs only 39 pounds. This makes it significantly easier to move and store than the 188-pound LayinSun set. The rust-proof aluminum frame ensures durability similar to the LayinSun. This option is best for those who need a durable, low-maintenance sofa for a small patio or balcony without the bulk of a larger set.

Solaste 3-Seat Aluminum Patio Sofa

The Solaste 3-Seat Aluminum Patio Sofa offers a lightweight 3-seater option with olefin cushions. At 73 inches long, it is narrower than the LayinSun’s overall footprint but provides seating for three. You give up the height-adjustable table and the 7-seat capacity. The white and grey color scheme offers a bright aesthetic compared to the LayinSun’s light grey. At only 28 pounds, it is the lightest option here, making it far easier to move than the 188-pound LayinSun. The olefin cushions are easy to clean, similar to the LayinSun’s waterproof fabric. This set is ideal for small patios where you need durable seating for a few people without the weight and bulk of a larger aluminum suite.
