If you prefer a modern grey look with functional seating, this configuration fits your needs.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if you need a dining table that is not a fire pit. The included cover converts it, but the primary function is heating. Key specs explained for this set
Frame Material: Aluminum
The frame is constructed from aluminum, which is a lightweight metal. This material resists rust and corrosion, making it suitable for outdoor use in various weather conditions. You benefit from easy mobility when rearranging the furniture. Unlike heavier steel options, this frame does not require extensive maintenance to prevent surface degradation over time.
Seating Capacity: 5
This set provides seating for five people. It includes a central table surrounded by individual chairs. This capacity is ideal for small family gatherings or intimate dinners. You can accommodate more guests than a standard three-seat set without taking up excessive patio space. It balances social interaction with a manageable footprint for residential outdoor areas.
Cushion Thickness: 5.1 in
The cushions measure 5.1 inches in thickness. This depth suggests a plush seating experience compared to thinner, firmer pads. The interior uses high-density fabric and vertical sponge for support. You likely experience reduced pressure on your back and hips during long sitting periods. This thickness level aims to enhance comfort without compromising the structural integrity of the chair base.
Table Type: Fire pit table
The central table functions as a propane fire pit. It generates 55,000 BTUs of heat for warmth. The table includes a metal cover that allows it to serve as a standard dining surface when the fire is not in use. You gain the benefit of extended outdoor usability into cooler evenings. This dual purpose saves space by combining heating and dining functions in one unit.
Design and Build Details
The frame is built from upgraded powder-coated aluminum, a material choice that balances durability with manageable weight. According to the listing, this construction resists fading, rust, and corrosion, which allows the set to withstand varied outdoor weather without degrading. The finish is a grey powder coat that protects the metal while providing a modern aesthetic. The set weighs 500 pounds, indicating a substantial footprint that requires a stable, level surface for safe use. You will need adequate space to accommodate the full arrangement, including the central fire pit table.
The layout features a five-seat configuration with a 45-inch propane fire pit table at the center. Two of the chairs include a dual-function base that swivels 360 degrees and rocks back and forth. This design offers flexibility in seating orientation, allowing you to adjust your view or engage in conversation more easily. The remaining seats are stationary, providing a stable foundation for the group. The fire pit table includes a metal cover that converts the surface into a dining table when the fire is not in use, maximizing the utility of the central piece.
Controls for the fire pit are straightforward, featuring a push-button rotary ignition system. The burner is made of upgraded porous stainless steel, which is designed to distribute heat evenly. With a heat output of 55,000 BTUs, the unit provides significant warmth for evening gatherings. The cushions are 5.1 inches thick and feature high-density fabric covers with zippers for removal. These covers are splash and fade-resistant, and internal straps keep them in place during use or when the chairs swivel.
Setup and daily use overview
You receive this set in four separate boxes. The listing notes that assembly is supported by clear instructions and includes some necessary tools. This packaging choice suggests you may need to manage multiple large items during the initial setup phase. Once assembled, the total weight is 500 pounds, indicating a sturdy, stable structure that will not shift easily during normal use.
Daily operation centers on the 55,000 BTU fire pit table. You ignite the unit using a push-button rotary ignition system. The burner is made of porous stainless steel, designed to provide even heat distribution. When not in use for fire, the table includes a metal cover, allowing you to convert the surface into an everyday dining table. This dual function maximizes the utility of the central piece.
Seating comfort relies on the 5.1-inch thick cushions. These are filled with high-density vertical sponge and covered in fade and splash-resistant fabric. The covers feature zippers for removal, simplifying routine cleaning. You can also use the included fixing straps to keep the pillows in place, preventing them from slipping off the seats.
Movement is facilitated by two chairs with dual-function bases. These allow you to swivel 360 degrees or rock back and forth. The bases are fitted with non-slip pads to ensure the chairs remain steady and do not wobble while you are using them. The ergonomic curved armrests and 34.1-inch backrest are designed to support your arms and reduce stress on your back during extended sitting periods.
Before You Buy This Set
Before you buy this Kurapika aluminum patio furniture set, consider a few practical details. The fire pit table requires a standard propane tank, so verify your current tank size and hose length fit the connection. The set weighs 500 pounds, making it heavy to move once assembled. You should ensure your patio floor can support this static load without damage. The cushions are 5.1 inches thick and feature removable covers, which simplifies cleaning but means you must store them properly during heavy rain to prevent moisture buildup. This 5-seat configuration fits well in medium-sized yards or large decks. If you have a smaller space, check the dimensions against your available area. The grey powder-coated aluminum resists rust, but you should still cover the set during winter to extend its life. This option suits buyers who want a conversation set with a built-in heat source, rather than buying a separate fire table. Compare this all-in-one approach against modular sets if you prefer flexible seating arrangements. Always check the swivel chair clearance to ensure smooth rotation without hitting walls or other furniture.
Check before you buy
- Verify propane tank compatibility and hose length.
- Ensure patio floor supports 500-pound weight.
- Check space for 360-degree chair swivel.
- Confirm cushion storage for rainy seasons.
