This jocoevol 6 piece outdoor patio furniture set review focuses on a compact L-shaped sectional designed for smaller spaces. The set includes five seating positions and a coffee table, all built around a powder-coated aluminum frame. Its defining specs are a 90 x 90 inch footprint and 6-inch thick cushions. These dimensions allow it to fit comfortably on balconies or in gardens without overwhelming the area. The navy-blue PE rope weaving adds a modern look. You get a complete conversation area that balances durability with a sleek aesthetic. This setup is ideal for those who want style without taking up too much room.
What stands out
- Powder-coated aluminum frame provides rust and scratch resistance.
- 6-inch thick high-density foam cushions for lumbar support.
- Waterproof polyester cushion covers that are removable for cleaning.
- Compact 90 x 90 inch L-shaped design fits small patios.
Who it fits
Good fit for
This set suits buyers with limited outdoor square footage, such as balcony or small backyard owners. The 90 x 90 inch footprint ensures it does not overwhelm tight spaces. You will appreciate the easy-to-clean polyester covers if you live in an area with pollen or rain. The lightweight aluminum frame makes rearranging the pieces simple. It is also a good fit for those who prefer a modern, navy-blue aesthetic with rope weaving details. The five-seat capacity works well for couples or small families.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if you need seating for more than five people. The compact L-shape limits the number of guests you can accommodate comfortably. You should also look elsewhere if you prefer a traditional wood or wicker look, as this set uses metal and rope. If you want a separate side table, note that the listing includes a coffee table but does not explicitly list a standalone side table in the key specs. Heavy rain exposure may require you to remove the cushions frequently to maintain their condition.
Verdict: This set offers a durable, space-saving solution for small outdoor areas with its compact aluminum frame and thick cushions. It is best for those prioritizing modern style and easy maintenance over large seating capacity.
Key specs explained for this set
Frame Material: Aluminum
The frame is made from aluminum, a metal that is both lightweight and resistant to rust. This construction allows the set to withstand outdoor weather without corroding. You benefit from a structure that does not require heavy maintenance or painting. When shopping, compare this to steel frames, which may rust if the coating is damaged, or wood, which needs regular sealing to prevent rot and warping over time.
Seating Capacity: 5
This sectional provides five distinct seating positions within its L-shaped configuration. This layout offers ample space for a small family or a few guests to sit together comfortably. You can fit more people than a standard three-piece set but fewer than large U-shaped arrangements. When comparing options, check the seat count to ensure the footprint matches your available patio area and social needs without overcrowding the space.
Cushion Thickness: 6 in
The cushions are six inches thick, providing substantial padding for your back and seat. This depth helps distribute weight evenly, reducing pressure points during long periods of sitting. You will find this thickness more supportive than standard one to two inch pads. When evaluating comfort, compare this spec to thinner cushions that may bottom out quickly, ensuring you get lasting support for reading or relaxing outdoors.
Cushion Fabric: Polyester
The cushions are covered in polyester fabric, which is durable and generally resistant to fading and moisture. This material allows for easy cleaning and quick drying after rain. You benefit from a cover that maintains its appearance with minimal care. When shopping, compare polyester to natural fibers like cotton, which absorb water and stain easily, or vinyl, which can feel sticky in hot weather and may crack over time.
Piece Count: 6-piece
The set includes six individual components, typically comprising the sectional modules, cushions, and a table. This count ensures you have all necessary elements for a complete seating area without needing to purchase additional items separately. You get a coordinated look and functional layout right out of the box. When comparing sets, verify the piece count to ensure you are getting a full ensemble rather than just a sofa and separate tables that may not match.
Design and build details
According to the listing, the frame is constructed from powder-coated aluminum. This material choice offers rust resistance and scratch durability. The structure remains lightweight at 132 pounds, yet it stays stable for outdoor use. The finish includes white aluminum frames paired with navy-blue PE rope weaving. This combination creates a modern aesthetic suitable for contemporary patios.
The set measures 90 by 90 by 30 inches. This square footprint defines an L-shaped sectional layout. It provides five seating positions and includes a coffee table with a glass-textured surface. The compact dimensions make it appropriate for smaller backyards, gardens, or balconies. The included side table adds extra utility for placing drinks or books near the seating area.
Cushions are 6 inches thick and filled with high-density foam. They feature waterproof polyester covers that resist dirt and fading. The covers are removable for cleaning, which simplifies maintenance. Adjustable feet on the frame ensure stability on uneven surfaces. The design prioritizes easy assembly, typically completed by two people in about two hours. This build quality supports long-term outdoor entertaining without requiring complex care routines.
Setup and everyday use guide
Assembly requires two people and takes about two hours. The set arrives with all necessary components, including the sofa frame, coffee table, and cushions. You will follow the included manual to connect the pieces. The lightweight aluminum frame at 132 pounds makes handling manageable for two individuals. Once assembled, the adjustable feet allow you to level the structure on various surfaces, ensuring stability. This is particularly useful for uneven ground in gardens or on patios.
Daily use centers on the five seating positions and the included coffee table. The 90 by 90 inch footprint fits well in compact areas like balconies or small backyards. The navy blue PE rope weaving and white aluminum frames provide a modern look that complements contemporary outdoor spaces. Maintenance is straightforward due to the water-resistant polyester cushion covers. These covers resist dirt and fading, and they are removable for cleaning. You can easily take them off to wash or air dry them. The high-density foam inside maintains its shape over time. The 6-inch thick cushions offer substantial support for extended sitting. The glass-textured coffee table surface provides a durable place for drinks or books. This set is designed for easy care and consistent comfort in outdoor environments.
Before You Buy This Set
Before you buy this set, check your outdoor footprint. The L-shape measures 90 by 90 inches. This square layout fits well on patios or balconies. You must ensure your space allows for this footprint. The set includes a coffee table and side table. Verify you have room for these surfaces. The cushions are thick at six inches. They require regular fluffing to maintain shape. You should store them during heavy rain. The polyester covers resist water but benefit from drying. Clean them with mild soap and water. This set suits small to medium areas. It may feel cramped in large gardens. Compare it with larger sectional options if you host many guests. The aluminum frame needs minimal upkeep. Wipe it down occasionally to remove dust. Avoid abrasive cleaners that damage the powder coat. This set is ideal for cozy evenings. It is less suitable for large family gatherings. Check the weight limit if you plan to move it often. The lightweight design makes it easy to reposition. Ensure you have the tools for assembly. Two people are recommended for setup.
