Who should skip it
You might want to look elsewhere if you need a complete dining or lounge suite, as this listing is for armchairs only. The focus is on lightweight durability rather than massive, heavy-duty construction.

Key specs explained for this set
Seat Material: Polyester fabric
The seating surface uses polyester fabric, which offers breathability and resilience against moisture. This material helps keep you cool during warm weather and resists water damage from rain or dew. When comparing patio furniture sets, look for similar breathable fabrics to ensure long-term comfort and ease of cleaning without rapid wear.
Frame Material: Powder-coated aluminum
The structure relies on aluminum coated with a protective powder layer. This combination prevents rust and corrosion, making it suitable for outdoor exposure in various climates. Unlike steel frames that may require more maintenance, powder-coated aluminum provides a durable, low-maintenance option for buyers seeking furniture that withstands the elements without frequent upkeep.
Cushion Included: Yes
High-density sponge cushions are included with the chairs, providing immediate comfort without extra purchases. These cushions offer stable support for extended lounging sessions. When shopping for patio sets, verify if cushions are included, as buying them separately can significantly increase the overall cost and effort required to complete your outdoor seating arrangement.
Weight: 45.2 pounds
Each chair weighs 45.2 pounds, offering enough mass to stay stable in breezy conditions while remaining manageable for rearranging. This weight balance ensures the furniture does not tip easily but can still be moved if needed. Compare this with lighter sets that may blow away or heavier ones that are difficult to reposition on decks.
Color: Grey
The chairs feature a grey finish, which provides a neutral, modern aesthetic that complements various outdoor decor styles. This color choice helps hide minor dust or weathering compared to lighter shades. When selecting patio furniture sets, consider how the color integrates with your existing space, as neutral tones often offer greater versatility for long-term design cohesion.
Design and build of the chairs
The frame is constructed from powder-coated aluminum, a material choice that prioritizes rust resistance for outdoor durability. Stainless steel screws secure the structure, which the listing notes ensures lasting integrity. The finish is a grey coating that complements the metal. This combination means the chairs can withstand exposure to rain and humidity without corroding, making them suitable for backyards, gardens, decks, or balconies. You do not need to worry about the metal degrading quickly in wet conditions.
According to the listing, each armchair measures 28 inches in length, 26.8 inches in width, and 28.7 inches in height. The total weight for the set of two is 45.2 pounds. These dimensions indicate a compact footprint that fits well in smaller spaces. The height is standard for seating, allowing for easy entry and exit. The weight suggests the chairs are sturdy enough to remain stable but light enough to move if you rearrange your patio layout.
The set includes high-density sponge cushions wrapped in breathable polyester fabric. This material choice supports comfort during extended lounging sessions. The fabric’s breathability helps keep you cool in warm weather. The ergonomic seat height provides stable support for your upper body. You can arrange these chairs in flexible configurations to suit your space. Whether you need solo relaxation or room for guests, the design adapts to various outdoor settings. The assembly is simple, requiring no tools, with numbered parts and video guidance provided.
Setup and everyday use guide
Setting up these Garvee armchairs requires minimal effort. The listing highlights a tool-complimentary assembly process, meaning you do not need to hunt for wrenches or screwdrivers. Parts are numbered to simplify the process, and online video guidance is available if you need visual support. This approach keeps the initial setup straightforward and reduces the time spent on construction.
Once assembled, the chairs fit well in compact outdoor areas. The dimensions are 26.8 inches wide, 28 inches deep, and 28.7 inches high. Each chair weighs 45.2 pounds, providing enough heft to stay stable on decks, balconies, or patios without being difficult to move slightly for cleaning. The ergonomic seat height supports your back during extended lounging sessions.
Daily use is supported by the all-weather design. The powder-coated aluminum frame resists rust, while the stainless steel screws prevent corrosion at connection points. The cushions use high-density sponge wrapped in breathable polyester fabric. This fabric allows air to circulate, keeping you cooler in warm weather. The material also handles rain and dew without absorbing moisture, which helps maintain the cushion’s shape and comfort. You can arrange the two chairs side by side for conversation or separate them for individual relaxation. The versatile configuration adapts to various patio layouts, making it suitable for solo reading or small gatherings. The grey color blends easily with most outdoor decor styles. Regular maintenance involves wiping the frame and cushions to keep them looking fresh, leveraging the rust-resistant and water-resistant properties of the materials.
Before you buy this set
You should verify your balcony or deck can support the forty-five-pound weight per chair. This set includes only two armchairs. You may need to purchase a coffee table separately if you want a complete conversation area. The grey finish works well with neutral outdoor decor, but beige options exist if you prefer warmer tones. Check your space dimensions carefully. The chairs are twenty-six inches wide and twenty-eight inches deep. Ensure you have enough room for comfortable movement around each piece. Maintenance is straightforward. Wipe down the polyester cushions with a damp cloth to remove dust or spills. The powder-coated aluminum frame resists rust, but you should still cover the set during heavy storms to extend its life. This model fits best in small patios or balconies. Larger decks might benefit from the four-piece or five-seat variations available in other listings. Compare the seat height to your existing outdoor dining chairs if you plan to mix and match. This ensures visual harmony and practical comfort for your specific layout needs.
