Devoko vs LDAILY Patio Sofa
Set composition
The LDAILY set includes a loveseat and a separate ottoman that combines to form a daybed. This configuration offers more versatility for lounging, as the ottoman can also serve as a coffee table with storage inside. The Devoko product is a single convertible sofa unit. It transforms from a couch to a daybed but does not include a separate ottoman or storage chest. If you need extra seating or storage space, the LDAILY layout provides more components. The Devoko design is simpler, focusing on a single piece of furniture that adapts to your needs without additional parts.
Frame material
Frame construction differs significantly between the two options. The Devoko sofa uses a solid acacia wood frame. The wood is coated with water-based paint to prevent decay, offering a natural look and sturdy support. The LDAILY set features a metal frame covered with PE rattan. This metal base is rust-resistant and reinforced with support bars for safety when reclining. Wood provides a classic aesthetic, while the metal and rattan combination offers durability against moisture and a textured finish. Your choice depends on whether you prefer natural wood grain or synthetic wicker over a metal structure.
Backrest adjustment
Adjustability impacts how you can position the furniture for comfort. The LDAILY loveseat includes a 4-level adjustable backrest, allowing you to select the perfect angle for reading, sunbathing, or relaxing. The Devoko sofa offers 3 positions for the backrest. While both provide multiple angles, the LDAILY option gives you one additional setting. This extra level might matter if you prefer precise positioning. The Devoko positions are sufficient for most lounging activities, but the LDAILY provides finer control over your recline angle for extended outdoor sessions.
Cushion design
Cushion specifications vary in thickness and closure. The Devoko cushions are 2.75 inches thick and filled with high-density sponge. They are secured with ropes to keep them in place. The LDAILY set also uses high-density padding but closes with smooth zippers for easy removal and maintenance. The Devoko design emphasizes thickness for comfort, while the LDAILY focuses on convenience for cleaning. Both options provide soft seating. The choice depends on whether you prioritize maximum cushion thickness or the ease of removing covers for washing. Neither design lacks essential comfort features.
Storage features
Storage capabilities are a key differentiator. The LDAILY ottoman includes a storage compartment inside the chaise longue section, allowing you to keep seat cushions or other items hidden. It also features an extendable side tray for drinks or snacks. The Devoko sofa does not mention any storage compartments or trays. If you need to hide cushions or keep small items within reach, the LDAILY design is superior. The Devoko option focuses purely on seating and lounging without added storage functions, which keeps the design streamlined but less functional for item retention.
Choose the right sofa for you
You want solid wood and simple assembly
The Devoko features a solid acacia wood frame coated with water-based paint to prevent decay. This material choice offers a natural aesthetic for your balcony or porch. Assembly is straightforward, taking under thirty minutes. The 2.75-inch thick cushions provide firm support. You can adjust the backrest to three positions for reading or napping. It weighs 50.3 pounds, making it lighter to move than the rattan option.
You need storage and extra seating versatility
The LDAILY set includes a loveseat and a separate ottoman. The ottoman opens to reveal storage space for cushions. This combination allows you to create a double bed lounger or use the pieces separately. The metal frame supports a rust-resistant PE rattan weave. You get four-level backrest adjustment for precise reclining angles. The set weighs 67.5 pounds, offering a sturdy presence for poolside or backyard lounging.
You prefer a compact daybed layout
The Devoko is a single unit measuring 77.95 inches in length. Its compact footprint fits well on smaller balconies. The grey finish complements modern outdoor decor. You benefit from a unified design without separate ottoman pieces. The high-density sponge cushions remain secure with ropes. Three backrest positions allow you to shift from sitting to lying down. The solid wood construction ensures durability against outdoor elements.
