Who it fits
Good fit for
This set suits you if you want flexible seating for small balconies or cozy patio corners. The swivel feature helps you engage with guests without turning your whole body. The all-weather materials make it a practical choice for areas with sun and rain exposure. You will appreciate the easy assembly, which takes about 30 minutes with included hardware. It is ideal for those who want ergonomic support for extended lounging without complex maintenance.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if you need a large dining set, as this is strictly a three-piece lounge arrangement. It lacks a table, so you must provide your own surface for drinks or food. If you require a fixed, non-moving chair, the swivel and rock functions may feel unstable. The steel frame, while rust-proof, is not wood or aluminum, which matters if you prefer those specific material aesthetics. You also need space for the 27.9-inch length per chair.
Verdict: The Devoko set offers reliable swivel and rock functions in a weather-resistant package. It is a solid choice for small outdoor lounging areas.
Key specs explained for this set
3-piece
You get three individual chairs in this set. This configuration is ideal for small patios or balconies where space is limited. It allows you to seat three people comfortably without needing a separate table. If you need a dining setup, you would likely need to purchase a table separately. This count focuses on seating capacity for casual lounging.
Steel
The frame is constructed from steel, which provides a sturdy base for the wicker and cushions. Steel frames are generally more durable and resistant to warping than wood or basic aluminum. This material choice supports the swivel and rocking mechanisms without bending under normal use. It ensures the set remains stable during daily outdoor activities.
22.2 inches
This measurement refers to the width of each chair. A width of 22.2 inches offers adequate seating room for most adults without taking up excessive floor space. It is narrower than some wide recliners but wider than minimal side chairs. This dimension helps the chairs fit comfortably in compact areas while still providing enough room for armrests and movement.
37.4 inches
The height of 37.4 inches indicates a standard seat height for patio furniture. This level is easy to sit on and stand up from without straining your knees. It aligns well with typical outdoor tables if you choose to add one. The height also ensures your feet rest flat on the ground, promoting better posture during long periods of sitting.
Design and build details
The listing specifies a 3-piece configuration. You receive three individual chairs rather than a table-and-chair combination. This layout suits small patios or balconies where space is tight. It allows you to seat three people without needing a separate surface. The set weighs 83.1 pounds. This weight provides stability for the swivel and rocking mechanisms, though it may require effort to move between rooms.
Construction relies on a rust-proof steel frame wrapped in UV-resistant PE wicker. The wicker is brown. This material choice aims to resist fading from sun exposure and cracking from humidity. You can wipe the surface clean quickly. The frame supports the structure, while the wicker provides the visual texture and weather barrier. According to the listing, this combination stands up to outdoor elements without tedious upkeep.
Dimensions are 27.9 inches in length, 22.2 inches in width, and 37.4 inches in height. These measurements define the footprint you need on your patio. The height suggests a standard seating position. The width allows for comfortable arm placement on the streamlined armrests. The model number is DVCH250953-8BG. This identifies the specific brown variant. You should verify these dimensions fit your intended space before purchase. The design prioritizes durability and ease of maintenance for daily outdoor use.
Setup and everyday use
Assembly is straightforward and requires no extra tools. You use the included hardware and follow the provided instructions. The listing states that putting the chairs together takes about thirty minutes. This timeline applies even if you are not experienced with DIY projects. The process is designed to be simple and efficient.
Once assembled, the set offers versatile placement options. The three individual chairs fit well on cozy balconies or sprawling patios. You can arrange them to suit your specific outdoor space. The design allows for easy repositioning depending on your needs.
Daily use centers on the swivel and rocking features. Each chair provides a 360° swivel function. This allows you to turn smoothly to join conversations or view your surroundings. The gentle rocking motion is intended to ease tension after a long day. The ergonomic design includes lumbar and neck support. You benefit from widened, streamlined armrests and thick cushions. These elements keep you comfortable during extended lounging sessions.
Maintenance is minimal. The UV-resistant PE wicker and rust-proof steel frame handle sun, rain, and humidity. The materials resist fading and cracking. Cleaning is simple; you can wipe the surfaces clean in seconds. This approach avoids tedious upkeep. The set is built to stand up to outdoor conditions while remaining easy to care for.
What to check before buying
This set consists of three individual swivel rockers without a central table. You will likely need to purchase a separate side table or coffee table if you plan to set down drinks or books. The listing specifies a brown color, so verify that this shade matches your existing patio decor. The frame is described as rust-proof steel, but you should still consider using protective covers during heavy rain or snow to extend the lifespan of the cushions and wicker. While the PE wicker is UV-resistant, prolonged direct sunlight may still cause gradual fading over time. Keep the area clean by wiping surfaces with a damp cloth. This configuration is best for those who prioritize seating capacity and relaxation motion over integrated dining functionality. It fits well in compact spaces like balconies or small patios where a full dining set would be too bulky. Check your available square footage to ensure the 27.9-inch length of each chair allows for comfortable movement around the seating area.
Check before you buy
- Confirm you need a separate table for drinks.
- Verify the brown color matches your patio decor.
