If you are looking for costway outdoor daybed retractable canopy alternatives, you likely want to compare specs rather than settle for the first option. The original model offers a retractable canopy and side tables with an 800-pound capacity. Its powder-coated metal frame and PE rattan construction provide durable shade for two adults. The pneumatic rod allows for manual adjustment without electronics. This setup works well for patios where you need integrated storage and sun protection.
You might choose a different product if you prefer adjustable backrests, hidden storage, or a smaller footprint. Some alternatives lack canopies but offer ottomans for extra space. Others focus on compact designs for balconies. The alternatives listed here were selected because their specifications overlap with the original daybed. You will find options with similar rattan materials or comparable seating capacities. This guide helps you match the exact features you need for your outdoor space.
Our top pick: COSTWAY 2-Person Daybed with Retractable Canopy.

However, this unit weighs 57.5 pounds, matching the original, so portability remains similar. It is a good fit if you prefer the look of woven wicker over metal. The manual shade adjustment is comparable. Choose this if you want a slightly wider sleeping surface with the same canopy functionality.

Frequently asked questions
Do these alternatives include a retractable canopy like the COSTWAY model?
Only the top two options feature a retractable canopy. The COSTWAY and Tangkula white daybeds both include this shade mechanism. The other four models focus on storage and adjustable backrests instead of sun protection. You will need to provide your own shade for the remaining picks if you require that specific feature.
Which daybed is best for small patios or balconies?
The Tangkula 2-Person Daybed Loveseat with Storage Ottoman is the most compact choice. It measures 28.5 inches long and 48.5 inches wide. This footprint fits tighter spaces better than the standard 60-inch models. The LDAILY Moccha option is also narrow at 43.5 inches long, making it suitable for smaller decks.
Which models offer hidden storage for outdoor cushions?
Four models include a storage ottoman. The Tangkula Beige, LDAILY Moccha, Tangkula Grey & Brown, and COSTWAY Navy daybeds all feature this utility. These units allow you to stow away pillows and blankets when not in use. This is ideal for keeping your patio area tidy and protected from the elements.
Can I adjust the backrest angle on these daybeds?
Yes, most models allow for adjustable lounging positions. The Tangkula Beige, LDAILY Moccha, Tangkula Grey & Brown, and LDAILY Moccha with pillows all feature adjustable backrests. This lets you switch between sitting and lying down. The two models with retractable canopies do not list this specific adjustable feature in their specs.
What is the weight capacity for these daybeds?
The provided data specifies an 800-pound capacity for the original COSTWAY model. The listed alternatives do not state their individual weight limits in the provided specifications. You should assume standard capacity for similar wicker daybeds. Always check the manufacturer details for the exact limit before placing the product in your home.
Are all these daybeds made from rattan or wicker?
Yes, all listed alternatives use synthetic rattan or wicker frames. The materials are listed as Wicker, Rattan, or PE Rattan. This construction provides durability for outdoor use in backyards, gardens, or poolside areas. The color options include white, beige, navy, and grey to match various patio decor styles.
Which model includes side tables or trays?
The COSTWAY White Outdoor Daybed and the Tangkula Rattan Daybed with Retractable Canopy are designed with integrated side tables. These trays provide convenient space for drinks or books. The other models focus on storage ottomans and adjustable seating rather than side tray storage. This distinction helps you choose based on your surface space needs.
