Who it fits

Key specs explained for this daybed

Size: 61" L x 52" W x 27.5" H

This listing provides a 61-inch length and 52-inch width, creating a broad surface area for two people. The 27.5-inch height allows for easy sitting and standing without straining your knees. You get more lying space than standard lounge chairs. This dimension suits taller users or those who prefer stretching out fully. Compare this footprint with narrower sofas to ensure it fits your patio layout comfortably.

Seating Capacity: 2 persons

The manufacturer rates this unit for two people, classifying it as a loveseat. This capacity ensures you have enough room to relax without crowding. It is ideal for couples or friends sharing the space. If you need seating for three or more, this model is too small. Verify this limit against your typical group size to avoid discomfort during extended lounging sessions on your patio.

Frame Material: Powder-Coated Metal

The internal structure uses a metal frame coated with powder for durability and weather resistance. This coating helps protect the metal from rust and corrosion when exposed to rain or humidity. It provides a sturdy base for the rattan weave. You benefit from a stable foundation that supports the stated weight limit. Compare this to untreated metal frames that may degrade faster in outdoor conditions.

Weight: 53 pounds

This unit weighs 53 pounds, making it manageable for most adults to move or rearrange. You can shift its position on your patio or store it away when not in use. The weight suggests a solid build without being overly heavy. Consider this figure if you plan to move the furniture frequently. Heavier sets offer more stability but are harder to relocate, while lighter ones may feel less secure.

Design and build details

According to the listing, the frame uses powder-coated metal for structural support. This interior skeleton holds up to 800 pounds. The exterior features all-weather PE rattan. This material offers resistance to wind and rain. It aims for long service life in outdoor settings. The unit weighs 53 pounds. This weight suggests it is sturdy but manageable for moving. You can reposition it on patios, lawns, or poolside areas.

The design includes a backrest and side armrests. These elements help prevent falls while you toss and turn. Aluminum feet attach to the base for extra stability. The seating capacity is listed for two persons. The surface area measures 61 inches by 52 inches. This width accommodates taller or bigger built users better than standard lounge chairs. The height is 27.5 inches. This dimension supports easy sitting and standing.

Cushions and back pillows are filled with high-resilient sponge. The covers have zippers for cleaning. The listing notes the assembly is hassle-free with illustrated instructions. The daybed is available in five colors: red, navy blue, beige, grey, and turquoise. You can choose the finish that matches your space. The grey model is the primary focus here. The layout is a loveseat style. This setup encourages shared relaxation. The design prioritizes comfort and durability for daily leisure use.

Setup and everyday use guide

The listing indicates that assembly is straightforward. The daybed arrives in a single box. You will receive illustrated instructions and all necessary accessories. This packaging format suggests you can set it up without needing multiple deliveries or complex logistics. The included guide should help you align the powder-coated metal frame and attach the PE rattan weave. Once assembled, the unit stands on aluminum feet. These feet provide extra stability on various surfaces, from patios to lawns. The 53-pound weight makes it manageable for two people to position, though it is not designed for frequent relocation. In daily use, the 61-inch length and 52-inch width accommodate two people comfortably. The 27.5-inch height allows you to sit and stand without straining your knees. The backrest and side armrests offer support, which is helpful if you shift positions while resting. The high-resilient sponge cushions provide comfort, and the zippered covers allow you to remove them for cleaning. This feature simplifies maintenance compared to fixed upholstery. The all-weather PE rattan resists wind and rain, making it suitable for outdoor exposure. You can place it by a pool, on a patio, or in a living room. The grey color is one of five available options, allowing you to match your existing decor. The 800-pound weight limit ensures the metal frame supports heavier loads reliably. This capacity makes the daybed suitable for users of varying sizes, including those who are taller or have a larger build. The loveseat design encourages shared relaxation, whether you are reading or napping. The structured frame keeps the cushions in place during use.

Before you buy this daybed

Before you commit to this COSTWAY daybed, verify your patio dimensions. The 61-inch length requires significant floor space. Ensure you have clearance for easy access and movement around the unit. Check if your existing cushions fit the 52-inch width. While the included high-resilient sponge cushions are comfortable, you may want additional throw pillows for back support. The grey rattan weave matches many outdoor themes, but consider if it complements your current furniture style. This loveseat suits those who prioritize lounging space over seating density. If you need a compact chair, look elsewhere. If you want a shared rest area, this fits. Keep the PE rattan clean with mild soap and water. Store cushions indoors during heavy rain to preserve the sponge. The powder-coated metal frame resists rust, but prolonged exposure to moisture still requires attention. This piece works well for poolside or deck settings where space allows. It is not ideal for small balconies. Confirm your local weather patterns align with the all-weather claims. This unit is best for relaxed, stationary use rather than active socializing.
