ComfCove vs Maison Backyards Specs
Set type
Maison Backyards offers a complete 7-piece conversation set centered around a propane fire pit table. This configuration includes swivel rocking chairs, side tables, and the heating element, creating a full social hub for your patio. ComfCove provides a modular aluminum loveseat designed for compact spaces. It focuses on seating rather than a central feature. If you need a complete gathering spot with heat, the Maison set delivers more pieces. If you prefer a smaller, flexible seating unit, the ComfCove loveseat fits tighter balconies or nooks better.
Frame material
The ComfCove loveseat uses a rust-resistant aluminum frame that is powder-coated to resist corrosion and fading. Aluminum is lightweight, weighing only 37.8 pounds for this unit, making it easy to move around a deck or porch. Maison Backyards constructs its set with a rust-resistant metal frame wrapped in thickened PE rattan. This combination adds weight and stability but reduces portability. Aluminum offers superior lightness for frequent repositioning, while the metal-and-rattan build of the Maison set provides a heavier, more anchored feel for permanent patio arrangements.
Cushion thickness
Maison Backyards specifies 4-inch thick seat cushions for its swivel rocking chairs. This substantial padding supports extended lounging and follows natural body posture with curved armrests and extended backrests. ComfCove describes its cushions as thick and filled with high-density foam, emphasizing cloud-like comfort and lumbar support. However, the exact thickness is not listed in the published specs for the ComfCove loveseat. For buyers prioritizing measurable cushion depth, the 4-inch specification of the Maison set offers a clear advantage in known comfort dimensions.
Seating capacity
ComfCove’s loveseat is explicitly rated for two people, with generous dimensions of 24.5 inches in width and 27.5 inches in depth. The tall 30.8-inch backrest supports shoulders to lower back. The Maison Backyards set includes multiple chairs as part of its 7-piece count, accommodating a larger group. While individual chair dimensions are not fully detailed in the provided data, the set structure supports more than two people simultaneously. If you need to seat a small group for evening gatherings, the larger piece count of the Maison set provides higher capacity.
Features
Maison Backyards includes a 55,000 BTU propane fire pit table with a stainless steel burner and tempered wind guard glass. This feature provides steady warmth and serves as a focal point for outdoor conversations. It also offers 360-degree swivel rocking motion in its chairs. ComfCove focuses on modular design and washable olefin fabric cushions. It lacks a heat source or swivel mechanism in its published specs. The fire pit and swivel functions of the Maison set add significant functional versatility that the basic seating of the ComfCove unit does not provide.
