Specifications side by side

Maison Backyards Patio Sets Overview

The lineup separates into three distinct groups based on frame material and intended use. The 7-Piece Swivel Rocking Fire Pit Set uses rattan wicker and includes a propane fire pit table. This configuration suits shoppers who prioritize warmth and comfort for small to medium patios or decks. It combines swivel and rocking chairs for flexible seating.

For larger spaces, the 12-Piece Wicker Patio Set offers extensive modular seating with a heavy steel frame. It fits buyers needing high-capacity arrangements for gatherings. The 6-Piece White Aluminum Set provides a rust-resistant alternative with durable swivel chairs. This option is ideal for those seeking easy cleaning and long-term durability in small patio areas.

Who Should Choose This Brand

Maison Backyards suits buyers who need flexible outdoor seating for small to large spaces. The range spans from a compact 6-piece aluminum set to a substantial 12-piece wicker sectional. You will find options with swivel chairs, rocking features, and integrated propane fire pits. These sets prioritize durability through rattan, steel, or aluminum frames. However, the current lineup lacks dining tables and umbrella bases. If you require dining configurations or shade structures, this brand does not offer those specific items. Focus on conversation and lounge needs instead.

Choosing the Right Patio Set

1. Match Set Size to Space

Check the piece count to ensure the set fits your area. The 12-Piece Wicker Patio Set offers extensive modular seating for large gatherings but requires significant floor space. In contrast, the 6-Piece White Aluminum Set is more compact, making it suitable for smaller patios where you need durable swivel seating without overwhelming the room. Measure your available square footage before selecting a configuration to avoid clutter and ensure comfortable movement around the furniture.

2. Select Frame Material Wisely

Frame material dictates durability and maintenance needs. Aluminum frames, like those on the 6-Piece White Aluminum Set, provide rust resistance and are easy to clean, making them ideal for coastal or humid environments. Wicker and rattan frames, found in the 7-Piece Swivel Rocking Fire Pit Set and the 12-Piece Wicker Patio Set, offer a traditional aesthetic but may require more care to prevent weathering. Choose aluminum for low upkeep or wicker for a classic woven look.

3. Prioritize Seating Features

Consider how you want to sit. The 7-Piece Swivel Rocking Fire Pit Set includes both swivel chairs and rocking chairs, providing varied comfort options for users who enjoy gentle motion. The 6-Piece Aluminum Set focuses on swivel chairs for easy conversation rotation. If you prefer stationary seating for stability, look for sets without these moving parts. Swivel features add versatility but may require more clearance space to operate safely without hitting nearby objects.

4. Evaluate Table Functionality

Determine if you need an integrated heat source. The 7-Piece Swivel Rocking Fire Pit Set features a propane fire pit table, which adds warmth and ambiance to your outdoor evenings. This is essential for patios, decks, and backyards needing warmth during cooler months. Other sets, such as the 12-Piece Wicker Patio Set, focus on modular seating and standard tables. Decide if the added complexity of a fire pit aligns with your usage patterns and local safety regulations.

5. Check Cushion Quality

Thick cushions impact long-term comfort. The 12-Piece Wicker Patio Set includes thick cushions designed for durable comfort in permanent setups, supporting high-capacity seating for extended gatherings. The 7-Piece Fire Pit Set also provides cushions for added coziness. Ensure the cushions are suitable for outdoor use and match the set’s material. Proper cushion quality prevents sagging and maintains the aesthetic appeal of the furniture over time, enhancing the overall user experience.
