Aoxun vs ZANDOR Patio Set Comparison
Set composition
The Aoxun set is a 10-piece configuration centered around a 44-inch propane fire pit table. This large ensemble includes multiple seating options and a substantial fire feature, making it a comprehensive solution for larger patios. In contrast, the ZANDOR set is a 4-seat arrangement featuring a standard coffee table. It is a more compact option designed for smaller spaces or those who prefer a simple dining or lounging area without a fire feature. The Aoxun offers significantly more pieces and a distinct fire element, while the ZANDOR provides a streamlined, four-person seating group.
Frame material
Frame construction differs notably between these two options. The Aoxun set utilizes a sturdy metal frame with advanced welding, covered by handwoven rattan. This combination is designed to resist rust, cracking, and corrosion, supporting over 400 lbs of weight. The ZANDOR set is built entirely from powder-coated aluminum with stainless steel screws. This all-aluminum construction is highlighted for being lightweight yet rust-resistant, allowing for easy repositioning. While both are durable, the Aoxun offers a heavier, woven aesthetic, whereas the ZANDOR provides a lighter, all-metal structure that is easier to move.
Fire feature
A key differentiator is the presence of a heat source. The Aoxun set includes a CSA-certified 44-inch propane fire pit table with a heat output of up to 50,000 BTU. This provides substantial warmth for outdoor gatherings during cooler weather. The ZANDOR set does not include a fire pit; instead, it features a modern coffee table with an imitation wood finish that is moisture-proof. If you value warmth and a focal point for evening gatherings, the Aoxun fire table is the clear choice. The ZANDOR is better suited for casual dining or lounging without the need for a flame.
Seating capacity
Seating arrangements vary based on the set size. The Aoxun 10-piece set includes a couch and swivel chairs, designed for spacious comfort and accommodating multiple people for socializing. The ZANDOR set explicitly seats four people, consisting of a loveseat and armchairs. The ZANDOR loveseat holds 800 lbs, and each armchair holds 400 lbs, indicating robust individual weight capacities. The Aoxun set offers more total seats due to its 10-piece count, making it better for larger groups. The ZANDOR is ideal for smaller households or intimate gatherings where four seats are sufficient.
Cushion care
Maintenance of the cushions is an important practical detail. The Aoxun set features premium polyester cushion covers that resist fading and water, drying quickly. These covers are detachable and can be spot-cleaned with soap and water, or folded for storage to protect against dust. The ZANDOR set offers 5.5-inch high-density sponge cushions with removable covers that are machine-washable. This machine-washable feature provides a more convenient cleaning method for deep stains. Both options offer removable covers, but the ZANDOR’s machine-washable design may be easier for thorough cleaning compared to the Aoxun’s spot-clean recommendation.
