Aoxun vs Shintenchi Set Comparison

Set Size and Capacity

Edge: Aoxun 10-Piece Wicker Set with Fire Pit Table

The Aoxun set offers a substantial 10-piece configuration, providing ample seating for larger gatherings. It includes multiple chairs and a couch, designed for groups. In contrast, the Shintenchi option is a compact 4-piece conversation set. It features a double chair and two single chairs, suitable for smaller spaces or intimate use. If you need space for many guests, the Aoxun configuration is the clear choice. The Shintenchi set is better if you have limited area or prefer a minimal footprint. Consider your typical gathering size when deciding between these two scales.

Frame Material and Build

Edge: Aoxun 10-Piece Wicker Set with Fire Pit Table

Both sets prioritize durability, but they use different materials. The Aoxun set features a sturdy metal frame with advanced welding, supporting over 400 lbs. It is coated to resist rust and corrosion. The Shintenchi set uses powder-coated steel tubes, which are resistant to deformation and aging. This coating helps reduce erosion from rain. While both frames are metal, the Aoxun set emphasizes high weight capacity and all-weather rattan weaving. The Shintenchi set focuses on structural mechanics for stability. For heavy use, the Aoxun build specs suggest greater load-bearing capability.

Table Functionality

Edge: Aoxun 10-Piece Wicker Set with Fire Pit Table

The table types differ significantly between these two sets. The Aoxun set includes a 44-inch propane fire pit table, certified by CSA for safety. It provides up to 50,000 BTU of heat, making it a focal point for warmth and ambiance. The Shintenchi set comes with a standard glass coffee table. It is designed for holding drinks or items but offers no heating function. If you want outdoor warmth and a fire feature, the Aoxun table is superior. For simple surface space without heat, the Shintenchi glass table suffices. The fire pit adds a unique utility that the coffee table lacks.

Seating Material and Comfort

Edge: Aoxun 10-Piece Wicker Set with Fire Pit Table

Comfort features vary by material choice. The Aoxun set uses handwoven rattan with premium polyester cushions that resist fading and repel water. The cushions are detachable and foldable for easy cleaning. The chairs offer 360-degree swivel and gentle rocking. The Shintenchi set uses breathable textile mesh for the seat and back. This material is easy to wipe clean and stays cool in summer. It lacks cushions in the standard package. If you prefer soft, washable cushions with movement, Aoxun wins. If you want breathable, low-maintenance mesh without added weight, Shintenchi is practical.

Weight and Portability

Edge: Shintenchi 4-Piece Steel Textile Conversation Set

Portability is a key difference due to weight. The Aoxun set weighs 339 pounds, making it a permanent fixture that is difficult to move. The Shintenchi set weighs only 55 pounds. Its curved back design allows you to lift and move the chairs easily. This light weight prevents floor scratches during relocation. If you frequently rearrange your patio or need to store furniture, the Shintenchi set is far more manageable. The Aoxun set is heavy and stable, best for a fixed location. Choose based on how often you move your furniture.
