Specs: Aluminum vs Wicker Set
Set type
Product A is a single 50x50 inch unit designed as a compact 7-seat arrangement. Product B is a 5-piece sectional that spans 96x96 inches, including a 3-seater, two armchairs, and two ottomans. The sectional layout offers more flexible configuration options for larger patios. The compact unit saves space but limits modular arrangement. You choose based on whether you need a cohesive conversation pit or a smaller footprint.
Frame material
Product A uses a reinforced structure with a steel frame and 3mm thickened aluminum. The aluminum features a heat-treated wood grain coating to reduce heat absorption. Product B relies on a high-strength steel frame wrapped in all-weather PE rattan. The rattan is handwoven for density. Steel provides core strength for both, but Product A adds aluminum for lighter weight and heat management, while Product B uses steel for the primary structural support under the wicker.
Cushion thickness
Product A features 5-inch thick cushions with double-layer high-resilience sponge and a wave-shaped decompression design. Product B uses 4-inch high-density 28D foam cushions. The extra inch in Product A provides more depth for lounging. Both aim for long-term comfort without collapsing. The thicker cushion in Product A may offer superior support for heavier users or extended sitting periods compared to the standard 4-inch profile of the wicker set.
Cushion fabric
Product A utilizes top Olefin fabric with a UPF59+ rating, making it stain-resistant and easy to clean. It is rated for ten years without fading. Product B uses 250G fabric that is waterproof and fade-proof. Olefin is known for quick drying and colorfastness. The 250G fabric offers waterproofing benefits. Both materials handle outdoor conditions well, but Olefin generally provides better breathability and easier maintenance for spills like coffee or wine.
Included features
Product B includes free waterproof covers made from 600D Oxford fabric with double-sided PVC coating. This adds immediate protection for all pieces. Product A does not list included covers in its data. The covers in Product B extend the lifespan of the furniture during inclement weather. If you want immediate all-weather protection without buying accessories separately, Product B offers a distinct advantage with its included cover set.
Weight
Product A weighs 40 pounds, making it significantly lighter than Product B, which weighs 90 pounds. The lighter weight of the aluminum set makes it easier to move or rearrange on a patio. The heavier wicker set is more stable but harder to relocate. If you plan to frequently change your outdoor layout or store furniture during winter, the lighter aluminum option is more practical for handling.
Which Aoxun set fits your space
Small patio owners needing compact seating
Product A measures 50x50 inches, making it ideal for tight balconies or small patios. Its compact footprint accommodates seven seats without overwhelming limited square footage. You get a unified unit that fits where larger sectionals cannot.
Users wanting modular lounging with ottomans
Product B offers a 5-piece sectional layout including two ottomans. This configuration allows you to arrange pieces for flexible lounging or conversation. The 96x96 inch footprint suits larger backyards where you want distinct seating zones and extra legroom.
Buyers prioritizing included weather protection
Product B includes free waterproof covers made from 600D Oxford fabric. These covers protect your investment when not in use. Product A does not list included covers in its specifications, so you would need to source them separately.
Shoppers seeking lighter, scratch-resistant frames
Product A weighs 40 pounds, significantly lighter than Product B at 90 pounds. Its aluminum frame with steel supports resists scratching and cracking. The heat-treated coating reduces metal heat absorption, offering a cooler surface during sunny summer days.
